VICTORIA & ABDUL to open in Ayala Malls Cinemas

Dame Judi Dench reprises her role as Queen Victoria and reunites with Academy Award-nominated director Stephen Frears (The Queen) in the royalty drama Victoria & Abdul which will be in Ayala Malls Cinemas starting October 4th. I am really excited about this as I've been watching royalty dramas and documentaries on Netflix like The Royals and The Crown.
This is a very interesting story about Queen Victoria and an advisor-turned-friend and also a very unlikely ally named Abdul whom the Queen finds favor as her teacher, her spiritual advisor, and her devoted friend. Victoria & Abdul humorously explores questions of race, religion, power, and the farce of Empire through the prism of a highly unusual and deeply moving friendship. Watch the magical trailer below.
The film also stars Eddie Izzard, Adeel Akhtar, Tim Pigott-Smith, Olivia Williams, Fenella Woolgar, Paul Higgins, Robin Soans, Julian Wadham, Simon Callow, and Michael Gambon.

Victoria & Abdul is distributed in the Philippines by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.

THE DANISH GIRL movie review

United International Pictures bring the Oscar-nominated THE DANISH GIRL starting February 3 and it will be exclusively shown in Ayala Malls Cinemas. Nominations include Best Picture, Best Actor for Eddie Redmayne and Best Actress for Alicia Vikander Here's my review for this great movie.
First thing that you'll fall in love with this movie is its cinematography. Great scene with striking colors as if everything looks like a painting. Even for the characters on how each picture is well-composed for the delight of the eye. You will not get bored of each scene and appreciate every picture. It seems that they banked on the professions of the characters as artists so they created each scene with great composition.

Eddie Redmayne established the character very well from the start. The expressions and body language really defined Lili and helping the audience understand the feelings of a person unsure of his sexuality and identity. This makes Eddie Redmayne a very good contender in the Best Actor race
Alicia Vikander's character is one equally great woman. With the consequences of what supposed to be "fun" and "complicated" to her loved one, she managed to be strong and accepted the fate of her husband. It is just right that there's also acceptance with the society they lived in.
The movie started with a little fun but the drama is not too dragging. I think it is an eye candy as you go through scene to scene. Dialogues are simple but the love exchange between Eddie and Alicia's characters are heartfelt and poetic.

BROOKLYN movie review

I just saw the special screening of Brooklyn - featuring the Oscar nominated actress Saoirse Ronan with Emory Cohen and Domnhall Gleeson, which will be shown exclusively in Ayala Malls Cinemas starting January 27, 2016.
First impression was it's like a life of a country girl, pursuing her dreams in a busy urban jungle, finding love and returning to her hometown just to get things more complicated. At least it did not disappoint to give you a good feel and there's some girl power going on throughout it. With influences around that may support or distract her, she must do the right decision that will have give her happiness. I thought that I'm gonna cry at some point but Brooklyn gives us a play on emotions with our decisions in life.
Saoirse Ronan as Eilis
The plot is simple but it was executed brilliantly. A transport to the 1950s Ireland and United States where people don't differ with the people in the current time in dealing with mature and straightforward choices. As I've said above, it was like a story of a country girl going to places and having the time of her life and later on having things complicated.

Her love story is the classic love triangle but unlike other movies, Eilis (Ronan) confronts her own fault and at least getting back to her original decision where she captured the hearts of the audience. You'll love it, it got me hooked and would like to see some more.
Domnhall Gleeson and Saoirse Ronan
Emory Cohen and Saoirse Ronan
Brooklyn scenery was a little bit short. You'll like the architecture, the streets, but you'd like to see some more. I hope that there could be more of the urban living where Eilis would be in awe of the whole package. The costumes and hair and make-up styles made up for the lacking elements.

Did I mention that Saoirse looks like a mix of Marian Rivera and Ara Mina? Brooklyn is distributed by 20th Century Fox Philippines. See the trailer below:

The Danish Girl opens February 3 in Ayala Malls Cinemas

The highly acclaimed and Oscar-nominated film, The Danish Girl, starring Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne will be shown in Ayala Malls Cinemas starting February 3, 2016.
Based on the book by David Ebershoff, “The Danish Girl” tells the extraordinary story of Lili Elbe, one of the world's first people to undergo gender confirmation surgery, and the powerful love story of two people who go through Lili's journey together. It movingly portrays a marriage going through a profound transformation.

In 1926 in Copenhagen, artist Einar Wegener (Redmayne) is married to Gerda Wegener (Vikander) and is revered for landscape paintings. Gerda is also an artist, less renowned but steadily working as a portraitist of prominent citizens. Theirs is a strong and loving marriage, yet personal and professional epiphanies have eluded them both.

That all begins to change one day when, on deadline for a portrait, Gerda asks her husband to fill in for a model by putting on a dress so that she can finish the painting. The experience is transformative, as Einar soon realizes that being Lili is an expression of her truest self, and she begins living her life as a woman. Gerda unexpectedly finds that she has a new muse, and renewed creative ferment. But the couple soon brush up against society's disapproval.
They leave their homeland for the more open-minded world of Paris. There, it is Gerda's career that continues to flourish. The couple's marriage evolves - and not without strain. But again and again Gerda supports Lili during her journey as a transgender woman. Through the other, each of them finds the courage to be who they are at heart.

“The Danish Girl” is vying for four Academy Awards, namely Best Actor (Redmayne), Best Supporting Actress (Vikander), Best Production Design and Best Costume Design. At the recently-concluded Golden Globe Awards, the film was nominated for Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Original Score. Watch the trailer here:

BY THE SEA movie review

You may think that Brangelina as the power couple of Hollywood but in BY THE SEA, you will see them as tearing apart. A sad movie for couples but at least By the Sea opens up the resolutions of relationship problems.
At first, you will love at the certain part of France where they shot the movie. The blue waters and tranquil surroundings will make you want to jump out of your seats and dive in it. Not to mention that you already got Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie just around the corner looking at you swim which is just like pure heaven for the fans. Then this very solemn and quiet vacation spot would make it in my bucket list as one of the places where I wanted to go.

In a bit, I got a bit concerned and pity to Brad Pitt's character. You will feel his sorrows with his wife, trying to hide that your relationship is tearing apart, and displaying to everyone being strong and happy. But little actions speak a lot of stories that's why he is noticed by one of his friends.
For a time, I disliked Angelina Jolie. Her character of slowly letting go of her husband for her some desires should not be served as a good example. But then I liked it how they've explained why she came to that point and strongly applauded Brad's character for keeping it intact with his wife. In short, you'll love Brad more here than Angelina. But the magical factor of these A-listers still don't overshadow the storyline that By The Sea aims to give to us.
This romance drama drew a thin line between fiction and reality and should really be seen by couples who are in the edge of breaking up. BY THE SEA is exclusively seen in Ayala Malls Cinemas starting November 18.

JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS movie review

Millennials would be able to remember the musical animated series Jem with the live adaptation of the Hasbro hit. During the 90s, techno music, lights and bright pink costumes with rhinestone embellishments, we followed Jem in her adventure to fulfill her dreams. In this adaptation, we revisit the adventure and look and traveled to the present time with Jem and her friends.
I don't know if I forgot or am I really unaware of calling the band as Holograms until I've seen it last night. Believe me, all I remembered was Jem and her musical career. Bit by bit I slowly remember the details like 51N3RGY. It may be the fault of the local channel not showing the animated series on a daily basis.

In general, the movie is good and fit for the current young generation. Social media, video selfies and viral videos are included in this. Famous stars also got to cameo. Songs are fresh and the Jem's make up are still achieved patterned from the animated series. The musical experience is good and you can empathize with the characters of the story, especially to the adventure.
Jem and the Holograms opens on November 4, exclusively in Ayala Malls Cinemas. Directed by Jon Chu and Watch the trailer here:

AMERICAN ULTRA movie review

Ayala Malls Cinemas exclusively bring us a new movie that will change us how we look at Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart. It detaches them from their previous roles in Zombieland and Bella Swann, and it is more exciting because you really have to watch out how they did their roles almost effortlessly.
American Ultra is another action movie with a touch of romance and comedy about a dumb spy reactivated to wipe all the soldiers who are set to bring him down. With his girlfriend (Stewart) playing to be unknown about all the things happening around them, he saves their asses off these agents and saves their relationship.
All you got to love in this action flick are the defending and killing skills. May it be CGI or not, the precision of the moves are quite perfect. It just looks unbelievable when Jesse Eisenberg's character is doing all the stuff. His innocent look and a little of a scaredy cat, the underdog makes a huge blow against the armed ones. You also can't imagine but Kristen Stewart did pretty well too. Being his girlfriend in the movie, the two did a realistic feel on a couple with conflicts but still manage to settle things down -- even at the middle of trouble. The two had this romantic-but-not-cheesy bond which gives all the realistic feels.

American Ultra is now showing only in Ayala Malls Cinemas. R13 for violence. Watch the trailer below:

RICKI AND THE FLASH movie review

Meryl Streep fans like me definitely love her more in RICKI AND THE FLASH as she gives off more of her singing and acting skills as an enstranged mother by her own family to pursue her rock and roll career. A happy go lucky woman that just rolled out her dreams and left everything of her obligation, Linda (Ricki) also changed her identity how she perceived everyone would want her to know.
Since the movie is partly musical, Meryl Streep once again proves that she can sing. With rock and roll as her genre, she can be a queen. Her growls and pitches are seamless and she's got good diction to match it with. She can also do a mix of country and pop rock and still sound incredible. She also rocks on a youthful glow with her long braids hairstyle and guitar skills.
Try to listen through this Spotify playlist:

A touch of comedy with Kevin Klein, the dysfunctional family also touches the souls of everyone who will watch it. It is very advisable to reconnect with everyone in the family in this movie. It is just so very touching because it revolves around the story of a lost mother. This movie also aims to realize that we should be happy that we have one. It also wants us to reach out to every member of the family, no matter how we value our own selves, and to support and understand what they want to be. There's always second chances and they are always better.

RICKI AND THE FLASH also stars Mamie Gummer, Audra McDonald, Sebastian Stan, and Rick Springfield. Opening on September 9, exclusively at Ayala Malls Cinemas, distributed by Columbia Pictures Philippines.

Tour below Paris in As Above/So Below

Who wants to go to Paris? United International Pictures gives all thrill-seekers perfect to haunt you this Halloween. As Above/So Below is a horror/thriller that even I was spooked just watching the trailer by itself.
The story goes around the tour in the Catacombs beneath the glorious streets of Paris. Little that we know about the dark past of the city in which young thrill-seekers are about to experience in this movie. Taking shots were even creepier with the stories of the 220-feet below the ground of Paris.

Leading the cast is Perdita Weeks whose character is to vindicate his father's beliefs about the Catacombs. Director John Erick Dowdle finds Weeks the perfect person for the role as they see her with depth to carry the character. She plays Scarlett, a British scholar of archaeology and rebellious thrill-seeker who is driven by the death of her father.
This is also Weeks' challenging role as she endures hours of makeup and play in the mud for a good chunk of production. She adds: "This was the most physically challenging role I have ever played: from sprinting with heavy cameras and battery packs on my head, to abseiling and crawling through bone tunnels on hands and bruised knees, all the while head to toe in 'blood' and dirt...it was exhausting and exhilarating in equal measure.”
Perdita Weeks in As Above/So Below will be exclusively shown at Ayala Malls Cinemas starting October 22, 2014.

JERSEY BOYS movie review

call me old-fashioned but the movie Jersey Boys is definitely going on my list as one of the best movies of 2014. this movie about 60s band, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, directed by Clint Eastwood, will capture the eyes and ears of oldies fans and even the new ones (i hope).
the movie centered on Frankie Valli's life and how the group The Four Seasons was formed. as a young man, he experienced unruliness but fun life along with Tommy and his pals in the band. gifted with a beautiful voice, Frankie (John Lloyd Young) became the crowd favorite and the group has earned great number of fans and made many hits over the radio. Young's voice can carry the original Valli and i never knew that they sang hits like December, 1963, My Eyes Adored You, and the catchy Sherry.

their performances are quite memorable. it's like you're watching another high school musical. their dance steps looked very snappy and fun to watch.

his life was like any ordinary man, with ups and downs that can also bring the audience to tears. it tells us that fame can sacrifice great things that we didn't realize have great importance. this can teach a lot life lessons.
opening July 16, Jersey Boys will touch hearts and bring the people in their era back to memory lane. exclusively shown in Ayala Malls cinemas.

THE WAY WAY BACK movie review

a feel good movie that encourages you who you want to be, is how i see it in Jim Rash and Nat Faxon's THE WAY, WAY BACK.
Duncan (Liam James), is a shy 14-year old who is locked in the family under his submissive mom, his mom's overbearing boyfriend, Trent and his daughter. spending the summer with them wasn't very easy for him until he finds Owen, a manager of Water Wizz, a water theme park work he also finds opportunities for his own improvement.
Liam James as Duncan
i guess the casting for this movie is one thing that i would really praise about. the story too would be very conveying on the message that a person makes the choice on how he wants people to treat them. as for Duncan, being used and bored to death of how he lives his life, he finally grew some balls to face any predicament. this is one story where you would hate Steve Carell for his character. you'll hate him on putting Duncan down, how Trent cheats his girlfriend and just how he puts himself acting as a father to Duncan. a very well-executed character that you'll put yourself into the situation and would not allow something to happen like that. sometimes, a person cannot face the change on his own, thanks to a person like Owen (Sam Rockwell) who opens up the potentials and makes you feel better, and better in the eyes of other people.
Liam James and Sam Rockwell (Owen)
this inspirational story would tell people that consider themselves losers will find ways to get out of their bad situation. this would be a self-help story that feature hope, love and step into the limelight of their lives.

THE WAY, WAY BACK is an exclusive to Ayala Malls Cinemas opening September 11. to get more information about movies and ticketing, just follow @MySureSeats on Twitter.

TRANCE movie review

an Ayala Mall Cinemas exclusive, 20th Century Fox brings a Danny Boyle film that had twisted my brain in many intelligence levels. James McAvoy, Vincent Cassel and Rosario Dawson stars in TRANCE, opening May 1.
it was an amazing ride to keep your mind working in the process on different perspectives. it is about an art auctioneer gets mixed up with a group of criminals partnering with a hypnotherapist to recover a lost painting.   moments were both exciting and unpredictable and you'll never really know who leads the cast until you reach the end of the story. a psychologically challenging that literally hooked me from start to finish.
a film inspired by art, Danny Boyle also executed his direction with every frame as good as art. from architecture, realism and more, from happy to tragic that you have to discover yourself. your senses will give full attention to the whole movie and that why i love it most these days.

HITCHCOCK movie review

Psycho has truly made an icon out of Alfred Hitchcock. the director that we all knew about this thriller and has been a peg in other gruesome mind-torturing movies. in HITCHCOCK, we learn more about the person himself and how a person finds achievement and beauty despite being surrounded with people who disagree.
i've seen that in Hitchcock, played by Anthony Hopkins, a great person is not born, but made. Hitchcock's dedication in pursuant of making Psycho is not a straight road to success. in the course with his wife (Helen Mirren), the journey turned into a wildlife as he almost trusted nobody. making the movie Psycho was not easy as it was conceptualized and executed but you will find it funny, interesting before the horror.
Alfred Hitchcock has written his life like a movie. in this, he appears very perfectionist but humble in his rights. and in this life he experiences what most of us do.

i liked how they depicted Hitchcock with make-up and even expanded Anthony Hopkins' body with prosthetics. i've not seen him in interviews and all, but the character immersed in Anthony Hopkins like it was really him. great job for the acting. Helen Mirren, Jessica Biel and Scarlett Johansson were all great in the co-production of Psycho. Helen Mirren, we can say, that she controlled Hitchcock more powerfully than any of his women. behind the man's success is a woman.
HITCHCOCK is a stellar movie you shouldn't miss. exclusively seen at Ayala Cinemas starting February 6.

SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN movie review

fishing in the desert might be very impossible for a man. but in the revolutionary vision of a sheikh to bring it to his people, a fisheries expert and a partner consultant has been able to bring dreams into reality. not only of the sheikh's but also for himself.
SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN is based on a novel by Paul Torday and starts as an investigatory project for Harriett (Emily Blunt). finding Dr. Alfred Jones (Ewan McGregor), a fisheries expert, she convinces him to join in the project and instill his expertise on fish in the dry land of Yemen. he was also empowered by the vision of Sheikh Muhammed (Amr Waked) to be able to help the Yemeni to raise their own source of living. during the process of building the project, Dr. Jones and Harriett discovers their common grounds. Alfred however has developed his connection with Harriett, thus forgetting his ties with a wife. when Harriett went into great depression, Alfred felt a very deep concern and almost swore to take care of her as they are together.
however that the project comes smoothly into place, resistance from radical Yemeni destroys their brainchild. but the perseverance comes from the sheikh himself and their passion and adrenalin comes again into place to rebuild what they had started -- not just the philanthropic causes but the personal lives of Harriett and Alfred as well.
if you like a very inspirational but not too heavy drama, SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN helps you to find your purpose. but makes you realize that you don't have to do it alone. hanging with to a total stranger but with very open mind, he or she makes you realize what you are capable of.

more than the three main characters, i even loved Patricia Maxwell (Kristin Scott Thomas) who was able to wind around the business of politics and media. much like as Glee's Sue Sylvester, she has this very strong character and able to manipulate the people around her but she has her own weaknesses. she's just good in hiding it in a bitchy way which makes it more fun.

it was also very educational if you're a fan of fishing. it was pretty obvious that the writer himself fishes in his spare time puts his tutorials into this novel.

opening October 10 2012, exclusively in Ayala Cinemas (Greenbelt, Trinoma, Glorietta), SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN is directed by Lasse Hallstrom under Lionsgate Pictures.

SECRETARIAT movie review

from the amazing true story of a horse comes to inspire everyone of us to keep believing, be strong and never lose hope.

SECRETARIAT shows how a plain housewife, Penny Chenery (Diane Lane), believed in her visions in spite of the time where women had nothing much to say. politics in the early 60s to 70s isn't so much easy for women. they are restricted to express their feelings and the major role is to raise a household. but here, Penny Chenery proved to it that men aren't always right. she studied and she fought with diplomacy.

the amazing thing is with Big Red called Secretariat, a horse that eats dirt from the back of the race, but wins in the end. coached by Lucien Laurin (John Malkovich), the horse displayed an exceptional performance, winning the Triple Crown in the season. a record no one has ever beaten yet. animals should be treated as people too. that's why Penny believed in him and he gave the best that he can be. from the back of the race, where others laugh at them, they brought their beliefs and reached to the top. they didn't ignore those who belittle them, but they took it as a challenge. soon enough, they are at the pedestal.

from the success of Secretariat, the people continued to live peacefully. with the fame and fortune, they remained humble and simple which is a very good value that we should all possess.

“Secretariat” is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International through Columbia Pictures.

DIANE LANE to inspire other women in SECRETARIAT

Oscar-nominated actress Diane Lane (“Unfaithful,” “Nights in Rodanthe”) stars as the extraordinary Penny Chenery, the real-life owner of a champion horse whose Cinderella-like story is recounted in Touchstone Pictures' inspiring film “Secretariat.” The critically acclaimed drama will be shown exclusively at Ayala Malls Cinemas (Glorietta 4, Greenbelt 3 & Trinoma) starting Dec. 1.

Based on the remarkable true story, the film chronicles the spectacular journey of the 1973 Triple Crown winner Secretariat. In the film, housewife and mother Penny Chenery (Lane) agrees to take over her ailing father’s Virginia-based Meadow Stables, despite her lack of horse-racing experience. Against all odds, with the help of veteran trainer Lucien Laurin (John Malkovich), she manages to navigate the male-dominated business, ultimately fostering the first Triple Crown winner in 25 years and what may be the greatest racehorse of all time.

Director Randall Wallace (the Oscar-nominated screenwriter of “Braveheart”) explains, “What Diane Lane brings to this role is authenticity. She is breathtakingly beautiful, and yet, you feel that she could be someone you know. She is accessible as well as inspiring, ideal, and yet she seems so tangible. I think those dualities were important aspects in bringing Penny as a character to the screen.”

Much of Lane’s research involved spending time with Chenery. “Penny is straight ahead,” says the actress. “She is comfortable in her own skin, certainly with the passage of time. And, wow, at first, I was really nervous to meet her — in a healthy way. I knew that it must be unbelievably surreal to meet the person who is going to portray you in a film. We wound up really enjoying each other’s company. The stories we got into — mother stories, daughter stories, sibling, wife, all the roles women play in life that Penny is and was at that time of her life. I felt very empowered by her trust in me.”

Chenery was certainly a fan of Lane’s. “I am honored and delighted to be portrayed by such a skillful, perceptive actress who is also a lovely person,” she says.

A confessed horse-racing novice, Lane soaked up all as much as she could from Chenery, even sitting with her to watch the footage of Secretariat’s Triple Crown races. “The name Secretariat immediately conjured up the excitement and uniqueness of that horse,” says Lane. “I remember him from my childhood. It was so much fun to do the research, to talk to the people who were part of his life, to feel the glory of the presence of that horse. What’s nice about it too is that humans can be ambitious, greedy and desirous of victory and accolades. But all judgment is removed with Secretariat—his triumphs are pure.”

Lane adds that as a child, she was a huge equine fan — and the little girl inside her was thrilled to be a part of the movie. “I always had a fascination with horses, from the time I was a little girl, to the point of having a fantasy life that involved horses. Some people have an imaginary friend; I had an imaginary horse. Dad would spend the 13 bucks to drive me out to Queens so I could ride some barn sour nag in a circle, which was the thrill of my month. I fell in love with horses as a little girl and I still love them.”

“Secretariat” is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International through Columbia Pictures.

MILLA JOVOVICH goes drama in STONE

As Milla Jovovich is best known for her starring role in the futuristic action franchise “Resident Evil,” audiences are in for a huge surprise with her latest project – the provocative drama, “Stone” which will be shown exclusively at Ayala Malls Cinemas (Trinoma, Glorietta 4 & Greenbelt 3) starting Oct. 27.

In the film, convicted arsonist Gera'd `Stone' Creeson (Edward Norton) looks to manipulate correctional officer Jack Mabry (Robert De Niro) into a plan to secure his parole by placing his beautiful wife Lucetta (Jovovich) in the lawman's path.

Producer Jordan Schur says, “This is a real star turn for Milla. The character has edge. She is compromised in multiple ways. It's a real departure. It took real courage and tremendous talent to approach the role the way she has, and I think she is going to enjoy accolades within the film community.”

After headlining three installments in the futuristic action franchise “Resident Evil,” Jovovich was eager to take on a role that would allow audiences to see her in a different light. Lucetta's complexities and contradictions provided exactly the sort of challenge the actress was looking for. “On the one hand, she's an innocent,” says Jovovich. “On the other, she's very sexual. Put these two elements together and you get a really wild character who's living life every day to its fullest. In contrast to these two men who are always thinking, she doesn't think, she just does.

“Lucetta's relationship with Stone is very passionate,” continues Jovovich. “He's in control, but at the same time he's been in prison for eight years, so she's had to make her own way. She's trying to get her husband out of prison, but once he goes through his spiritual experience, she doesn't recognize the man that she fell in love with. The man she worked so hard to get out is not the man that comes out in the end.

Jovovich's unique blend of innocence and sophistication captivated the filmmakers at her first audition for the role, says producer Holly Wiersma. “She can be as playful and fun as any teenager one moment, and then, in a flash, demonstrate the maturity of a grown woman.”

Director John Curran was impressed by the supermodel-turned-actress' nonchalant attitude about her looks. “Milla made me laugh in her audition,” he says. “More than anyone we saw, she understood the contradictions in Lucetta and had the most fun teasing out every side of her.”

Her character's easy sexuality did not come easily to Jovovich. “I have some crazy scenes in this movie, she reveals. “As an actor, you often walk in shoes that you would never wear otherwise, and it can be difficult, especially in a movie like this where I had multiple sex scenes with different men. At times, I found myself really upset by the end of the day. John gave me so much support and that was very important to me. When you're putting yourself out there as a woman, in the way that I do in this movie, it's so important to trust that the director really knows what he wants and knows how he's going to cut it together in the end so it's never gratuitous and the nuances remain intact.”

Her dedication did not go unnoticed by her co-workers. “Milla had a very difficult task in creating this character,” says De Niro. “And she really did a great job. She totally committed.”

The caliber of her co-stars also saw her through some of her more difficult moments. “Working with Edward Norton and Robert De Niro was just one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had,” she says. “They put so much passion into their work. Edward is a highly intelligent, highly articulate, and very generous person. Robert is an icon and an amazing actor, but he's also a very sweet family-oriented guy.”
