No other details were further disclosed but we know that it will surely be a hit. Kaleidoscope World has been an anthem among 90s kids. I wonder if they'll include songs from collaborations like Bagsakan with Gloc-9 and Parokya and more. Francis M is known to be the legend of Pinoy Rap and is still an inspiration to the young rappers in the Philippines. The story will be set in the contemporary times, we would have to see it on how the songs will be delivered.

GET HARD movie review
No one would ever imagine getting into prison but rich guy stock broker, James King (Will Ferrell), prepares himself with the help of stereotyped-simpleton Darnell (Kevin Hart) in this satirical comedy, GET HARD.
In this movie, James King was sentenced to go to prison after he allegedly stole money from investors for his own favors and he turns into Darnell to guide him and familiarize to what it's like to be in prison -- in which he didn't even really did. The fun goes with the satirical representation of the thugs and the life in prison.
Like any Will Ferrell movies, this movie promises a good laugh. The opening itself already makes you giggle with how he boasts his richness in the household. Adding Kevin Hart to the scene which makes him too good to be a good man trying to be a thug, it livens up situations that they are both pretending to be such people. I think that would be the lesson of the story, to stop pretending and face whatever consequences and utilize whatever you have. But it would be too serious to talk about.
There are lots of things that you cannot "unsee." From violence to naughty stuff that your hands wont be able to cover your eyes. We were literally shouting in the cinema in shock of what we saw. Racial discrimination was concretely discussed and it swifted all over the movie like no big deal. I would call it hilariously racist.
The movie is rated R-16 for violence, nudity, language and other content. But we that were able to see it were happy of the movie and relieved me from stress.
Get Hard is directed by Etan Cohen and distributed in the Philippines by Warner Bros. Pictures.

It's very exciting that we will be adding more to the likes of Darna and Captain Barbell in our league of local superheroes. Thanks to Carlo Vergara and his amazing imagination coming up with ZsaZsa Zaturnnah and her villains from the past musical which also turned into a movie. Two years ago, he introduced us with a new concept that makes us think, "Who cleans up the mess after a big fight?" Yes, that question has been answered with his one-act play, Kung Paano Ako Naging Lady (KPANLL) which was part of the Virgin Labfest.
This year, in collaboration with three other great minds, Tuxqs Rutaquio and Vince De Jesus who both played Ada in ZsaZsa Zaturnnah, and director of Kimmy Dora, Chris Martinez, KPANLL is now a musical! And from May 7 - June 7, I think that this will divert the attention of Manila from the western superheroes to our local production. Thanks to Dalanghita Productions for making this possible. You're already big with their very first musical.
I'm really looking forward to see Bituin Escalante doing the top bill in the cast as Mely, the maid, alternating with Frenchie Dy. Markki Stroem and Hans Eckstein play as Leading Man, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo and Astarte Abraham as Madre De Dios, the leader of Fuerza Filipinas.
Know the other members of the superhero league, Fuerza Filipinas:

The Tony Award and Academy Award-winning artist, Idina Menzel announced her stop in the world concert series and included Manila as part of it which will happen on June 7, 2015 8PM at SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The 43-year old actress, also called as Adele Nazeem by John Travolta in an Oscar event, will sing hit songs that will relive moments of love, hurt and inspiration that theater and movie goers love. Including the award-winning song Let It Go from Disney's Frozen. It will be a one-night concert so better get your pockets ready.
Part of her nominations and winnings in her career are her roles in Rent as Maureen, Elphie in Wicked, as Rachel Berry's mom in Glee. The most famous I think was as Elsa in Frozen. Her powerful voice captured worldwide audiences and continue to captivate us every time she performs.
Ticket prices will be on sale starting March 28 via SM Tickets.

Patron - Php 5000
Lower Box A - Php 3500

I enjoyed watching Disney's Cinderella last Saturday. The world-famous fairy tale of rags to glamour and making dreams come true has made us remember our childhood in this wonderfully made live-action movie.
In this re-imagination, we further understand how Cinderella is during her happy days with her mother. Just like how the bond was delivered in Into The Woods. We also get to know why her stepmother and step sisters were so mean to her, a back story that helped establish her cruelty against Cinderella. At some point we've got to pity her and that's one factor that we have to know each other's sides.
We are also presented with more additions to the story to clarify the issues going on with the characters. Then we discover the stories on different ends and that may have contributed to our protagonist's life.
A little touch of Disney's "movie magic" and we gave a glamorous and enthralling experience. Though this is not the same treatment as the original musical animated film, Cinderella did not compromise the magical story. There are still familiar elements but transformations unfold before your eyes and they are amazing. "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!" did not fall out of context; Cinderella talks to mice and lizards, her glass slippers and her blue ballgown, thank you to the Fairy Godmother, all these were made possible.
With its primer "Frozen Fever," it established the magical wonders that are in store for us in Cinderella. Elsa's sneeze created cute little snowmen that almost tore Anna's birthday party apart. You'd better get to the theaters earlier to see this cute treat.
Now showing in theaters nationwide, Cinderella is played Lily James with Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Stellan Skarsgaard. Directed by Kenneth Branagh under Walt Disney Pictures and distributed by Columbia Pictures Philippines.

PETA (Philippine Educational Theater Association) and Dalanghita Productions give way to another Carlo Vergara's novels that will bring us to laugh, to cry, to fight, to love and to learn. "Kung Paano Ako Naging Leading Lady" now presents as a musical that will play from May 7-June 7, 2015 at the PETA Theater Center in Quezon City.
“ Kung Paano Ako Naging Leading Lady ” revolves story of two sisters named MELY and VIVA who both yearn to fulfill their dreams. Their sibling relationship and rivalry becomes more complicated due to an unsettled past and a budding romance, all in the context of an ongoing war between the superhero and supervillain teams. Being a maid is tough enough, but when Mely lands a job under a group of superheroes, she steps up to the unique challenge for the sake of her family. The musical takes us through the journey of the characters as each tries to find his/her place in the world where superheroes and supervillains exist.
They also announced the cast that will play the characters in this original musical. Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, Bituin Escalante & Frenchie Dy, Kim Molina & Natasha Cabrera, Markki Stroem & Hans Eckstein, May Bayot, Astarte Abraham, Giannina Ocampo, Jeff Flores, Chesko Rodriguez, Caisa Borromeo, Nar Cabico & Domi Espejo, Red Nuestro, Vince Lim & Mikoy Morales, Elliot Eustacio, Red Concepcion, Kakki Teodoro, Raf Bravo, Gab Pangilinan, JC Santos, Brian Sy, Rhenwyn Gabalonzo and Josh Cabiladas. Written by Carlo Vergara with musical scoring of Vince de Jesus works together again from ZsaZsa Zaturnnah and this is directed by Chris Martinez. Even the production team is a powerhouse and it gets me so excited.

With the great news that Emma Watson will be playing Belle in this great fairy tale, Disney also gives away some of the cast that will play the characters of Gaston, Mrs. Potts, Maurice and the Prince himself.
Bill Condon directs the film with musical scoring by Al Menken, who also did for the 1991 blockbuster animated film. New original songs will be added to the film to be featured alongside new arrangement of the music we all loved like Be Our Guest, Beauty and the Beast and more. The film is set for release on March 17 2017 in theaters worldwide, from Walt Disney Pictures. Distributed in the Philippines thru Columbia Pictures Philippines.
