THE HEAT movie review

when two agents clash on their operation tactics to take on a drug syndicate, you can imagine how some actions will be chaotic. but for FBI agent Sarah Ashburn (Sandra Bullock), her immersion in the ghetto with a local officer, Mullins (Melissa McCarthy), would be the most successful and respectable tandem ever.

in THE HEAT, FBI Agent Sarah Ashburn and Boston police officer Mullins are two women that were ridiculed by their own offices but were very efficient in their own fields. the uniformed Ashburn meets the commonality of Mullins in the Boston neighborhood which Ashburn finds difficult to blend in. Ashburn sees how Mullins take on cases until a very sensitive instance has to be dealt by her ways. her strategies and tactics takes on justice but careful to compromise the new-found friendship.

THE HEAT is indeed a very funny movie and funnier after you see the trailer. Melissa McCarthy is the person to watch out for punch lines and i think brought the light on this flick. expect a lot of bad-mouthing and gruesome gestures attacking people and on Sandra Bullock that makes you leap from your seat. be sure that you don't bring your kids under 13 as rated. but the servings of punch lines are very much enjoyable. i bet many people would use them in their everyday lives.

THE HEAT is directed by Paul Feig and written by Katie Dippold. also starring Marlon Wayans in this police action-comedy movie. opening June 27 distributed by 20th Century Fox Philippines and Warner Bros. Pictures Philippines.

MONSTERS UNIVERSITY movie review

in the prelude of MONSTERS INC., we are able to see the story behind the friendship of Mike and Sulley, how their differences make them each other's nightmare but eventually become the best of friends. MONSTERS UNIVERSITY is all a backtrack of everyone's story. that each everyone searches for success, live their dreams and even be brave to conquer obstacles of college life and friendship.

the majority of the story focuses on Mike Wazowski, a preschooler who wished to become connected to their world's most sought-after employer, Monsters Inc. and what it takes to be an employee is to be top-scarer in their school, Monsters University. from then on, his inspiration is to know everything about scaring people. this is no easy task for Mike because he has to endure college life in the School of Scaring under the terror of Dean Hardscrabble, a notable scarer of Monstropolis and a Hall of Famer in the university.

Mike's college life is complete and exciting with the whole cast of characters which we would find in a contemporary university setting. the bullies, the varsities, the populars, the nerds and all would be part of Mike's college life and would be his barriers towards fulfilling his dreams. adding to that is another popular kid, James Sullivan, who came from a family of very good scarers. Mike and Sulley's encounter would be very difficult for both of them initially as they go through the Scare Games, but they'll get to know and make up each other's strengths to achieve what they dream of.

Mike Wazowski's college life is very relatable to everyone who went through college. this would be their momentous era where they are trying to prove to everyone about their abilities and each one would dream about belonging to different cliques where they could be comfortable to fit in. but there are times that we couldn't get everything that we want. for this movie, it also teaches us that experience is the best teacher. i remember that i was almost the same as Mike during college. i had the same drive towards studying and may have dealt with similar people in the university. it could have been added to the fun at the university and like all, we should always be thankful to everyone who became part of what we are today.

the HP Mobile Authentication service

HP users can now have security in buying toners and cartridges to use with the new Mobile Authentication app which can be stored to their phones. smartphones will be able to scan the QR code present in the packaging of the toners and cartridges. those who do not have a smartphone can also authenticate the product by entering the numeric code on the stickers to the website hp.com/go/ok.

How does the mobile authentication feature work?
To use HP Mobile Authentication, customers should perform the following steps:

1. Visually check the label. The new HP Mobile Authentication label features holographic image-shifting properties in addition to the QR code.
Customers should perform the following steps to visually verify that the label is valid:

•Tilt box front to back to see ‘OK’ and ‘’ move in opposite directions.
•Tilt box right to left to see ‘OK’ and ‘’ move in the same direction.

2. If the package includes a new Mobile Authentication label, a smartphone QR code reader can capture the security code.

3. View the response from HP.

(1) The HP Mobile Authentication QR code may be read with any standard QR code reader or with the reader included with the HP eSupplies app for iPhone available at the iTunes App Store.
(2) The HP Mobile Authentication program is available only with security labels that feature the QR code.
