from Summit Entertainment comes a highly-acclaimed movie directed by Jodie Foster. THE BEAVER, a drama that shows a person who tries to cope out of depression played by Mel Gibson. showing on August 10 exclusively at Ayala Cinemas (Glorietta 4, Greenbelt 3 and Trinoma)

this film wants us to understand people that undergo this kind of sickness. that we have to extend our compassion to every person as he is. each is your life-support. there are special groups that may deal on this kind of situations but it is still the family that can lift the faces of a depression-stricken person.

Celebrity treatment at FLAWLESS

just another day to maximize my relaxation and one thing that tops the list is to pamper myself. and this includes a pleasing facial treatment from FLAWLESS. i know that FLAWLESS is a known institution in aesthetic industry and i am very thankful being able to try their services.

since this was my first time to try FLAWLESS, i am also grateful of the good hospitality that they displayed. the attendants are nice and proper. they give you the best assistance towards the treating room. they give you analysis of your skin (in my case, my face) and suggests the best treatment that will erase your skin problems.

the area is also very comforting. though there's only one room with a lot of clinic beds, you can have your derma party with your friends.

as for me, i have acne problem so i had the acne control facial as suggested by my attendant. she explained how she will do the procedure to my face and what i will do after. she even showed me the creams and chemicals that she will use that we will use for the treatment. good thing that most of it are water-based, safe and rich in nutrients that are essential to the skin.

and before we end the session, she gave a back massage that really makes you feel that "celebrity treatment" in FLAWLESS.

check out FLAWLESS' services by visiting them at 5/F of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City or at these locations.

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS part 2 movie review

the much-awaited conclusion of Harry Potter series starts showing tomorrow, July 14 2011 worldwide and i am thankful for Warner Bros. Philippines for inviting me to an advanced special screening in 3D.

to continue from the last installment, Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) finds the Elder Wand from the tomb of Dumbledore and gains more power in order to kill Harry (Daniel Radcliffe). as he gathers more and more army of dark wizards, Harry and his friends Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) are off to find the horcruxes and destroy it.

from the first installment of Deathly Hallows, excitement arises in the developments of the movie. and from this 2nd part, the movie focuses on the battle of Harry and Voldemort. being a movie fan, not really read the books, i was also surprised from the back stories of each character. what you're gonna discover their roles on the life of Harry and what have they done to protect Hogwarts. a surprise hero called Longbottom grabbed the limelight killing the last horcrux.

the darkest of all the Harry Potter movies, this has improved from the kiddie-tone since Sorcerer's Stone. even the soundtrack is very Gregorian that you will anticipate something wrong to happen. however, the execution isn't that magical -- in fact, more realistic. it's good to watch in 3D too.

at the end, you will find that something is lacking. just don't leave your seats and enjoy the movie.

it's girl talk in an intimate yet funny presentation of Love Loss and What I Wore which runs for a limited time (July 14 - 17, 2011) at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium in RCBC Plaza in Makati City.

just realizing that somehow teen movies are true, girls and ladies will definitely love the anecdotes of 5 women narrating their stories that involves their clothes. the women audience will definitely see themselves on the struggles on relationship with men, their mother, and clothing. it's like you who talks in front of a mirror or your best friend.

the stories are timeless. although they provide you a hint of the era of when they've lived, the details are still what's happening to each and every girl in the world. and each story tells you an important lesson that you will bring for life. indeed showing that the women of this generation has transformed from a quiet, domestic creature to something that will change the world and knows what's going on in their head. in other words, they also matter in the society and the world.

to the guys, this is an eye-opener on the world of the ladies. understanding why they can't understand guys and vice-versa. it's knowing how to treat them and sometimes they really want the deeper sense of what they want. and here in this play, you will learn the why's and how's of a woman.

TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON movie review

on the third installment of the car-robot franchise, Transformers: Dark of the Moon will give you a hi-intensity killer machines that we believe to be the saviors of the universe. good to see in 3D especially in SM digital cinemas and IMAX theaters across Manila.

set in two different times, 1969 and the present, we once believed that the expedition on the moon is just human excitement. but as NASA is at the discovery of a very classified information, they have launched Apollo 11 to the moon. and there the existence of rather more complex intelligence exists and the citizens of Cybertron are upon us.

in the present time, Sam Witwiki is in the search for a job to make his parents ever prouder and for the future with the new girlfriend. but once the job is acquired, he is also hunted by the Deceptecons. being the messenger and the one closest to the Autobots, Sam is the perfect gateway to get into the headquarters. and they had it successful and Sentinel had betrayed them.

however, Autobots can't leave us all by ourselves. they still have the attachment to the human beings and they will serve the humans and protect the planet. it's good to see other robots like Shockwave, Sentinel, Megatron and the others giving a full blast in the movie. one thing that i just find weird is Carly, (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) in any way she gets rolled or jumping from falling buildings and crashing choppers, she never gets dirty and still maintain that poise. she didn't have that same charm as Megan Fox though. and Patrick Dempsey is a villain! i'm just not used to it since he was this goody-goody leading man from movies and TV series and i think it lacks that acting power.

and for a Transformers movie, you will really expect machine details like the first installments. you will be just get used to it.

an attempt with Bikram Yoga

never tried yoga before. but with the high temperature and sweat all over your body, it will make me motivated to try one. just as a friend suggested that they are in contact with a new yoga facility, i think this is the calling for me to try one.

just as a new studio in Alabang, Bikram Yoga will be a new way to lay off those unwanted measurements and stay fit in mind and body. Bikram Choudhury, founder, has developed this yoga routine reducing risks of injuries. imagine me trying it and then attest to the testimonials of Hollywood celebrities like Lady Gaga, Jennifer Aniston and George Clooney. though others may think that it's body contortion, think about the benefits.

turning up the heat to 40 degress Celsius, 26 positions or asanas will be performed in a 90-minute exercise. Ms. Ginger Diaz, studio director of Bikram Yoga Alabang, is a Bikram-certified instructor and now thankful for the increasing community in Manila. she has provided a good and suitable schedule for clients. she has also testified on the good benefits of Bikram Yoga.

26 positions or asanas
