Disney and Steven Spielberg gives us a glimpse on the must-awaited remake of the 1961 theatrical classic, West Side Story.
The footage starts when director Steven Spielberg raises a toast in tradition of cheering for the start of production and repeats it when shooting wraps up.

The scenes Steven Spielberg's captured in West Side Story 1961

I've just seen West Side Story of 1961. So I tried to look back on the trailer released a few weeks ago that was directed by Steven Spielberg.
I think it will capture almost all the iconic moments, shot by shot, from the 60s movie in his adaptation of the West Side Story in a modern day setting and West Side fans will have a trip on memory lane in these scenes. Let me break some of them for you from Act 1.
Maria prepares for her first dance in the United States. She is hesitant to wear a simple white dress but Anita helps her to wear it and she will be the most beautiful maiden in the event.
The dance event where everyone will be enjoying
Tony glances at Maria for the very first time
Maria looks back towards Tony.
Tony visits Maria and meets him at the balcony after the dance despite the dangerous fate in store for both of them.

Have you spot more scenes that look similar from the 1961 and this year's version? Tell them in the comments below. Steven Spielberg's West Side Story features Ansel Elgort as Tony, Rachel Zegler as Maria, Ariana Debose as Anita, David Alvarez as Bernardo of the Sharks gang, Mike Faist as Riff of the Jets gang and more.

Opening December 10, 2021 in theaters worldwide, a Christmas musical event from Disney.

Steven Spielberg's West Side Story teaser released on Oscars Night

Musical fans are in for a Christmas gift this year as Disney releases teaser of the remake of West Side Story, just in time of Oscars Night.
In modernized fashion, Spielberg's West Side Story is the adaptation of the Shakespearean love tragedy Romeo and Juliet and based on the award winning movie in 1961. Two feuding families became two warring gangs in New York City, the white Jets led by Riff, and Latino Sharks, led by Bernardo. Their hatred escalates to a point where neither can coexist with any form of understanding.

Cast includes Ansel Elgort as Tony, Rachel Zegler as Maria, Ariana Debose as Anita, David Alvarez as Bernardo, Rita Moreno as Valentina, Mike Faist as Riff and more.

READY PLAYER ONE movie review

A total nostalgic experience set in the future is Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One, showing in cinemas starting March 31. Childhood video game and pop culture memories come to life but this makes you feel really old.
Timeline is at 2047 when a game called the Oasis was at the peak of its performance and would be an economic foundation for people like Wade Watts. Making the Oasis the definite escape from the real world, Wade and everyone else discovers the goal to a fortune that a required adventure will not be easy for them and may cost them their life.

I say that this movie makes you really old because of the references it has that came from video games that were around 30-40 years ago. Music and movies also played a vital role that shaped the generation that could easily recognize the imagery that Ready Player One has. Steven Spielberg has developed a great adaptation of the book by Ernest Cline and brings so much nostalgia to everyone that are watching it. Spot your favorite thing around 30 years ago and you can easily relate to it.
It also puts you to agree that you should not believe everything you see online. One big example is using an avatar that you might fall prey for when you give so much information to. It kind of slaps you to wake up to a better view of reality that people might also be hiding their own problems in their avatars and try to impress or retaliate to their problems by excelling in the game.

Ready Player One opens in cinemas starting March 31 and best viewed in IMAX.

Know the dinosaurs in the JURASSIC WORLD movie

Learned that it's already 22 years after the original Jurassic Park movie and I'm seeing comments that Starlord (Chris Pratt) joins the care of dinosaurs in captivity in the latest movie by Steven Spielberg. Opening June 10, 2015, the Philippines would be getting entrance tickets earlier than the rest of the world.
Jurassic World opens the gates to the people for amusement and education until one dinosaur breaks loose. As we all know, the T-Rex is always and has been the most dangerous predator in the park living with the other dinosaurs. Know some of them here:
The Mosasaur. Looks like a crocodile and sizing bigger than this stadium
and treated like a show dolphin. Fed with a killer white shark for amusement.
Velociraptors. Looks like tiny T-Rexs and Star-Lord makes them sidekicks.
There'll be more in the list and if you want to see the Brontosaurus and Triceratops, they'll be probably be in here. So step in and take a walk in the park called Jurassic World.
It’s directed by Colin Trevorrow with original Jurassic Park director Steven Spielberg as Executive Producer. Jurassic World will be distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures. Here's the trailer:
