ANGRY BIRDS movie - trailer impressions

After we've seen their cameo appearance in RioRovio's biggest online and mobile game ANGRY BIRDS has been turned into a movie and will be released next summer. It has a TV series running now on kids channels but the movie version gives a new look on these adorable characters. Here are some points:
1. All the birds are present and now has bodies aside from just being round.
2. Red (Jason Sudeikis) gives us the reason why he is being angry. The original purpose of the mobile game, the cute creature ironically has a rough character to begin with.
3. Of course the pigs are present and they also got full bodies like the birds. And they have names! The leader of the pig is named Leonard, and is voiced over by Bill Hader.
4. The trailer is so adorable and cute that it had to start with The Carpenter's Close To You and transition to Michael Jackson's BAD. I don't know why but it's hilarious.
5. Sadly, it doesn't contain all the birds from the game. Take a look of some of the birds that we missed.
Watch the trailer here:
Featuring a hilarious, all-star voice cast that includes Bill Hader (“Inside Out”), Maya Rudolph (“Bridesmaids”), and Peter Dinklage (“Game of Thrones”), as well as Keegan-Michael Key (“Pitch Perfect 2”), Kate McKinnon (next year's “Ghostbusters”), Tony Hale (“Veep”), Ike Barinholtz (“Neighbors”), Hannibal Buress (“Broad City”), Jillian Bell (“22 Jump Street”), Danielle Brooks (“Orange is the New Black”), Latin music sensation Romeo Santos, and YouTube stars Smosh (Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla), the Columbia Pictures/Rovio Entertainment film is directed by Fergal Reilly and Clay Kaytis, produced by John Cohen and Catherine Winder, screenplay by Jon Vitti, and executive produced by Mikael Hed and David Maisel.

Opening across the Philippines on May 18, 2016, “Angry Birds” is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.

MICHAEL JACKSON'S DEATH ANNIVERSARY

i remember June 25th as the mark of the death of one of my idols, MICHAEL JACKSON. i believe everyone wishes that he is still alive right now. making new songs, inspiring musicians and reviving the spirit in each and everyone of us. well, it seems that he still does right now. people have been commemorating his existence, the life, the poetry, the music and the moves. no one ever did it like Michael Jackson.

he even got sales after his death. most people cried over his funeral. his movie, THIS IS IT has made millions in theaters and even in copies. upto this date, he continues to influence the youth that doesn't even lived in his prime years. one great thing is that he tried to bring discipline to the CEBU DANCING INMATES who danced to his songs in synchronized and orderly manner.

truly, Michael, you are missed. but you still live in everybody's hearts.

CEBU DANCING INMATES in THIS IS IT DVD release!

surprising and i admit that it was really Filipino pride. who would think that prisoners would display such discipline and with awe the whole world? the project has been a regular after it gained millions of hits via Youtube.com and still surprises audiences in the Internet.

and now an extension of their tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, these folks have been given a legendary role in a big Michael Jackson production! and not only that, Travis Payne, Michael Jackson's choreographer, has put his hands on the production with the inmates. Travis Payne was reported to be in the city doing a 2-day visit.

Payne and the people from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center did the choreography and the inmates learned it within Payne's visit.

THIS IS IT movie review

Michael Jackson never fails to entertain us. with his latest hit, not a song, but a rehearsal of his final concert tour, THIS IS IT, has become a worldwide phenomenon. everything was almost close to perfect and by the craft of Kenny Ortega, a documentation of the said concert helped everyone visualize the final outcome of the event.

Kenny Ortega on the set

it starts with Wanna Be Startin' Something for the opening and everyone will be chanting with the "ma-ma-se-ma-ma-sa-ma-ma-coo-sa." the rehearsals started on April 15th 2009 and songs have been lined up for the spectacular show. other songs included in the concert are: Jam, They Don't Care About Us -- where Michael and the dancers are in military mood. special effects are made to form a huge platoon; Human Nature; Smooth Criminal starts with a black and white movie prologue filled with action and nice visual effects.

ladies will be strutting their stuff as Micheal sings The Way You Make Me Feel and they would feel like a model. it was a feel-good moment for them.

a series of Jackson 5 songs takes the old but young-at-hearts back to memory lane with I Want You Back, I'll Be There and a couple of other songs from the Jacksons.

if you want to fall in love, Michael and a partner sings a sexy I Just Can't Stop Loving You.

getting dancy and jumpy, stand up and do the steps of Thriller and Beat It with the immortal dance moves. Thriller has a new approach this time. a very nice production of the ghouls would scare your party feet up on the dance floor.

Michael Jackson has also been known for his songs against racism and an advocate for environmental awareness with Black or White and Earth Song. a new rising star Ornithia plays the lead guitar in Black or White.

Billie Jean will give you the glimpse of the Moonwalk and the show ends with another social song, Man in the Mirror.

you can see that Michael Jackson is a very hands-on person and knows what he wants for a great show. you will have a front-row, first-hand experience of the King of Pop's creative genius, and an eye for perfection. all in all, a very Michael Jackson experience.

OK! Magazine is not ok with Michael Jackson cover

OK! Magazine has released a poor cover of Michael Jackson's dead body on the recent issue of the publication. the magazine has paid $500 000 for releasing the insensitive photo.

tsk tsk. these kind of people really don't know how to pay proper respect.

but in other news, the will of Michael Jackson has already been filed to court and the riches will go to family trust. this was already been done by Michael years before and now let's ask no questions on what goes to whom.

Michael Jackson's body has been transferred to Neverland for public viewing on Friday.

Michael Jackson's autopsy photos spreading the internet

there are rumors spreading that the autopsy photos of Michael Jackson have been spreading the internet. the King of Pop recently died due to cardiac arrest on June 25 2009 at his home in LA with a still unknown cause.

it has been reported that there is NO FOUL PLAY on Michael Jackson's death but as mandatory in the US to investigate with the death of a high-profile personality, an autopsy has been done. newest reports say on an AP exclusive that the King of Pop has requested Diprivan, a sleep drug, days prior his death. the drug may be harmful to the health in case taken excessively.

i'd like to say to these people who have been spreading this to stop it and pay respect to Michael Jackson and his family. just remember him as a true music legend and a great influence to everyone. whatever the results of the autopsy may be, let's just respect and accept his loss as is.

let's remember every great person with the great things they've done and contributed to the people.

Michael Jackson dies at 50

i am not unfamiliar with the name. in fact, i was one of those children that grew up with Billy Jean, Bad, and Thriller. Michael Jackson is a household name and probably the generation coming after our time would only see him as the child molester, the cosmetic patient and big money.

this morning i less heard that the King of Pop had passed away and i was hoping that this was just a dream. until later on that everybody was buzzing and it was confirmed at the UCLA Hospital that Michael Jackson is dead on thursday afternoon on the US (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009). suddenly i came running back through the events that happened in his life and of course the music of the true legend.

he has been making music even before i was alive and my parents have been enjoying his music since then. a lot of revivals from his songs have been made like Boyzone's Ben and Mariah Carey's I'll Be There.

lately on this year's American Idol, Michael Jackson's music has been the theme for the Top 13 and it was a great privilege for them to sing his songs. also last year, Filipinos stand tall for reliving Michael Jackson's Thriller as Cebu inmates danced to the tune. his only record that soared to 100 million copies sold!

i remember that we had copies of his videos and cassettes and still i got the chills for the production of Thriller. and still i can't help myself stomping my feet to Michael Jackson's dance tunes. and he produces music videos that always come up like movies. indeed he got so many influenced by his moonwalk and other things in regard to his music.

despite all the troubles that he underwent these couple of years, Michael Jackson's legacy to the music industry will always be remembered. Michael Jackson is an accomplished man but it is a sad goodbye.
