the Cebu Dancing Inmates did it. Travis Payne and 2 dancers perform together with the dancing inmates for Michael Jackson's THIS IS IT release. they danced to the tune of THEY DONT CARE ABOUT US originally from the HISTORY album.
surprising and i admit that it was really Filipino pride. who would think that prisoners would display such discipline and with awe the whole world? the project has been a regular after it gained millions of hits via Youtube.com and still surprises audiences in the Internet.
and now an extension of their tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, these folks have been given a legendary role in a big Michael Jackson production! and not only that, Travis Payne, Michael Jackson's choreographer, has put his hands on the production with the inmates. Travis Payne was reported to be in the city doing a 2-day visit.
Payne and the people from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center did the choreography and the inmates learned it within Payne's visit.
the world famous Cebu Dancing Inmates has faced another dancing challenge, but now it's not just for entertainment. they promote proper electoral process dancing to the tune of Sexbomb Girls' May Bilog na Hugis Itlog - an instructional music video educating the Filipino people on how to adopt the automated elections on May 2010. the video suggests to mark properly the ballot to vote for the candidate they eye for, and it is a very significant advocacy for the Filipinos, especially with the Sexbomb Girls and the Cebu Dancing inmates.

after the Thriller triumph and other Michael Jackson hits, the CPDRC (Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center) inmates do the JAI HO! fairness, original version, not the Pussycat Dolls' one.
this was performed last May 30 during their monthly public performance. it's nice to know they are a tourist destination already! i should see one of their performances!
it still involves the main characters, the one who played Michael Jackson now plays Jamal Malik and the other plays Latika. funny!
