UNIQLO Philippines Chief Operating Officer Masayoshi Nakamura underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in bringing social good to grassroots communities, “Today, we are pleased to open the health clinic that we constructed in partnership with SM Foundation. UNIQLO is grateful and honored to play a role in improving the health infrastructure in your area. Through our partnership efforts, we hope to uplift the people living in your community and ensure that everyone has access to primary medical care.”

This was seconded by SMFI Executive Director for Health and Medical Programs Connie Angeles, “At SM Foundation, we believe that working alone as a single entity yields lesser benefits than when working together as a team. The formation of partnerships through our multi-sector approach has played a very significant role in our CSR programs. Such partnerships bring businesses, people and organizations together in order to achieve our social good goals.”

Angeles further expressed her gratitude to UNIQLO for this sustained collaboration, “There is much more that needs to be done, but with partners like UNIQLO, we at SM Foundation are confident that we will be able to attain our social good goals sooner rather than later. Thank you, UNIQLO, for spreading social good with us through this project!”

Empowering the frontliners
The newly improved Montalban Infirmary Hospital boosts the capacity of the frontliners in protecting the community from various health threats, especially during the pandemic.

Through this social development project, the health center was able to transition to the new normal.

“Our medical frontliners must be supported by a strong medical infrastructure, which in turn, will ensure the welfare of the patients and communities that they serve. We hope that through this project with UNIQLO, we are able to provide our medical frontliners with a fully equipped medical infrastructure that will empower them to spread social good through health and wellness,” Angeles said.

Aside from the Montalban Infirmary Hospital, UNIQLO Philippines and SM Foundation are also set to launch and turn over six improved health centers in the months to come.

SM Foundation, through its Health and Medical Programs, upgrades public health centers in its host communities, complemented by its medical caravans across the country. To date, it has renovated more than 170 health and wellness centers and served more than 1.1 million patients during its medical missions.

Amiya Raya: Zen living at the top

With the pandemic changing our lifestyle for the past year and a half, we have been accustomed in living at home. Like me, while I previously spend my days socializing, now I discovered that there's more to navigate and discover things at home. While I sit and do my regular chores peacefully at home, I also sometimes think about getting another sanctuary in which I can do so much more.

For home seekers, Amiya Raya presents a sanctuary that offers a lot to make up for the lonely days. Living at the top of San Mateo gives a wide view overlooking Metro Manila to Manila Bay where you can see a beautiful sunset every day. A beautiful panoramic view day in and day out while enjoying a cool breeze above.

It is also an accessible venue from different premier universities, shopping districts, and medical centers. On the other hand, it is also tucked away in lush and spacious greeneries, giving its residents privacy and much-needed breathing space.

Inside the community are different recreational and functional amenities where you can immerse in fitness, relaxing, and celebrating. Club Vihara, Amiya Raya’s top-caliber clubhouse and sports facility, offers residents who are fitness buffs and sports enthusiasts access to indoor badminton courts, a multi-sports court (coming soon), a gym, CrossFit areas, a boxing ring, and a wall climbing facility. Those who opt for games with friends and family will surely enjoy hours in the game area with billiards, darts, and table games. Despite countrywide lockdowns and limitations in gatherings, intimate celebrations are still possible at the spacious club event halls that open up to wide balconies.

For sunny and chill days, residents can enjoy a dip in the club’s infinity pool while basking in city views and mountain landscapes. Kids also have their own space in an elaborate playroom at the club.

Staying at home has become an exciting adventure that enriches the senses. Spending time with the people you love in the privacy of your space in a place that delights is something the community’s dwellers love.

The newest homes at Amiya Raya allow its residents to live with nature, a welcome experience for the soul and the senses. Its designs are inspired by various Asian architectural concepts – modern, minimalist and Zen. Each home boasts of split-level structures that enhance the use of ground space and opens interesting visual perspectives around the living area. It incorporates classic, clean lines; a simple yet luxurious design; generous open living areas; efficient use of space; and a sense of natural tropical style.

The houses’ blueprint allows its residents to be still and to move with ease. One other hand, its minimalist design gives the home ample room to evolve as time passes, matching the life lived of its owner.

Community Creators, Inc. is the owner and developer of premium residential projects Amiya Raya in San Mateo Rizal and Atlanta in Malolos Bulacan. It is founded and headed by CEO Chay Garcia.
