LG releases 2024 Q2 Financial Results

Company Sets New Records for Second Quarter Revenue and Operating ProfitThrough Balanced Qualitative Growth in Core and Future Businesses
LG Electronics Inc. (LG) today announced second-quarter 2024 consolidated revenue of 15.82 billion USD and operating profit of 894 million USD, reflecting an 8.5 percent year-over-year increase in revenue and a 61.2 percent surge in operating profit. These figures mark new records for the highest second-quarter revenue and operating profit in the company’s history.

Key drivers of this performance include the home appliance and vehicle component sectors, both achieving their highest quarterly revenues to date. Sales from LG’s Home Appliance & Air Solution Company and Vehicle component Solutions Company combined reached 8.4 billion USD, up 8.2 percent from the previous year. Both Companies also reported record-high second-quarter operating profits, totaling 556 million USD, which represents a 45 percent year-over-year increase.

These results highlight LG’s balanced growth across its core and future businesses. This growth demonstrates not only external expansion but also solid profitability, contributing to qualitative improvements in overall performance.

LG continues to transform its business portfolio towards a future-oriented approach, maximizing the potential of existing businesses while securing new growth opportunities. The company is also focused on rapidly advancing high-growth potential new businesses.

The fast growth in LG’s B2B sector significantly contributes to establishing a future-oriented business structure. Despite a temporary slowdown in EV demand, the vehicle component business continues to grow, supported by a diversified client base of electric and internal combustion vehicles and a strong order backlog. Additionally, LG’s heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) business, which includes high-efficiency chillers, is exploring growth opportunities within the AI infrastructure sector.

In the B2C domain, LG is accelerating the integration of new business models that combine traditional hardware sales with intangible, non-hardware offerings such as content, services and subscriptions. The webOS content and services business is expanding beyond TVs into IT and infotainment, with projected revenues set to surpass 729 million USD this year.

Additionally, the subscription business, which merges products with services, is gaining remarkable momentum. After achieving success in Korea, LG is now expanding this subscription model internationally. Last year, subscription revenue exceeded 729 million USD, with growth accelerating this year. In June, 36.2 percent of major home appliances sold at LG Brand Shops in Korea were subscription-based. This model, particularly popular among young Korean customers, is now being introduced to global markets. For example, LG has launched LG Rent-Up in Malaysia, offering subscriptions for nine products, including washing machines, dryers, and refrigerators.

LG is also expediting the advancement of new businesses. The smart factory business, which combines the company’s manufacturing expertise with AI, is expected to secure orders worth 218 million USD this year, expanding its customer base in industries such as semiconductors and biotechnology. Furthermore, LG’s partnership with ChargePoint, North America’s leading EV charging company, is set to boost the EV charging business by combining ChargePoint’s chargers with LG’s commercial display advertising solutions, ‘LG DOOH Ads,’ creating new market opportunities.

The LG Home Appliance & Air Solution Company generated second-quarter revenue of 6.4 billion USD and an operating profit of 506 billion USD. Compared to the same period last year, revenue increased by 11 percent and operating profit by 16 percent, marking the highest revenue for a single quarter and the strongest second-quarter operating profit to date.

In the second quarter, LG’s volume zone strategy – designed to address polarized market demand – proved effective by diversifying its product lineup and pricing to meet growing needs in emerging markets such as Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. Contributions from new business areas, including subscriptions and Online Brand Shop sales, bolstered the strong performance. Looking ahead to the third quarter, LG intends to remain agile in adapting to market shifts and to continue expanding its B2B sectors, particularly HVAC and built-in appliances. The recent acquisition of smart home platform company Athom is expected to create synergies within the home appliance sector. Additionally, LG will leverage its top-tier global manufacturing capabilities to secure robust profitability.

The LG Vehicle component Solutions Company achieved second-quarter revenue of 1.96 billion USD and an operating profit of 59 million USD. Revenue increased by 1 percent year-over-year, and the operating profit turned positive. This quarter’s revenue was the highest for any quarter, and the operating profit was the strongest for a second quarter.

Despite a temporary slowdown in the EV market during this period, LG saw growth by effectively addressing increased demand for premium in-vehicle infotainment products and plans to continue expanding its vehicle components business. This strategy includes increasing sales of premium new products as well as safety and convenience solutions, such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, in line with existing order programs.

The LG Home Entertainment Company posted second-quarter revenue of 2.64 billion USD and an operating profit of 70 million USD. Revenue increased by 15 percent compared to the same period last year, driven by a recovery in demand in Europe, a key market for premium OLED TVs. Growth also continued in the webOS content and service business. However, operating profit declined due to increased costs, including rising LCD panel prices.

Overall TV market demand is expected to show modest growth in the third quarter compared to last year, with premium OLED TVs anticipated to outperform the broader market. LG will aim to maintain operational efficiency by minimizing cost burdens, such as rising LCD panel prices, through increased sales of OLED TVs.

The LG Business Solutions Company reported second-quarter revenue of 1 billion USD and an operating loss of 4.3 million USD. Revenue increased by 9.9 percent year-over-year, driven by expanded sales of strategic products such as LED signage, electronic whiteboards and gaming monitors. However, profitability was impacted by cost increases, including LCD panel prices, and ongoing investments in growth areas like EV charging and robotics.

In the third quarter, market growth for premium products such as commercial displays and gaming monitors is expected to continue. The Company will focus on expanding sales of strategic products and improving profitability through efficient resource management.

LG Begins Global Rollout of 2023 TV Lineup

With LG's Latest TV Tech and an Updated webOS with Enhanced Personalization Features, New TVs Elevate Viewing Immersion, and the User Experience

LG Electronics (LG) announces the global rollout of its 2023 TV lineup, featuring the most advanced range of LG OLED TVs yet. Boasting the company’s latest technologies and designed around its new vision – Sync to You, Open to All – LG’s new TVs deliver exceptional viewing and user experiences that can be customized to match one’s individual needs, preferences, and tastes. The 2023 LG TV lineup ushers in a new era in television, transforming the TV into a convenient home hub that continuously expands and enriches everyday life.

Headlining this year’s lineup, the company’s latest OLED TVs elevate the viewing experience as only LG OLED can. The new models offer premium self-lit picture quality, powerful image processing technologies, and an upgraded webOS platform providing even more smart features, as well as access to an ever-increasing library of lifestyle services.

LG introduced the world to the first-ever large screen OLED a decade ago, and since then, the company has continued to lead the premium TV market. Its cutting-edge OLED TVs keep evolving to deliver ever-greater value to consumers and have earned many accolades from respected tech media outlets and industry experts. Renowned for their superb picture quality, LG OLED TVs produce vibrant, accurate colors with deep blacks and an infinite contrast ratio for images that are remarkably lifelike.

In addition to realizing new and more immersive viewing experiences, LG’s self-lit technology has enabled the company to create unprecedented, visually-stunning TV form factors, including market-firsts such as the rollable LG SIGNATURE OLED R, and the bendable LG OLED Flex. Among its latest triumphs are the LG SIGNATURE OLED M, a 97-inch OLED TV with Zero Connect technology enabling wireless transmission of video and audio, and OLED T, a transparent OLED TV that redefines spatial integration and the user experience.

LG’s 2023 OLED lineup features upgraded Z3, G3 and C3 OLED evo series TVs. Thanks to the precision and performance of LG OLED evo technology and the new α9 AI Processor Gen6, the new models provide improved brightness and color accuracy along with amazing clarity and detail.
LG OLED evo G3
The latest Alpha series processor utilizes LG’s sophisticated AI-assisted Deep Learning tech to ensure outstanding picture and sound quality. AI Picture Pro now offers improved upscaling for clearer images, and also includes OLED Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro, which helps reveal hidden details and brings greater depth to every frame. OLED Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro ‘splits’ the picture into 20,000 blocks, analyzing each in real-time to detect the darkest and brightest areas and deliver precision HDR optimization to increase viewers’ sense of immersion. Additionally, AI Picture Pro features HDR Expression Enhancer, a picture processing technology that detects and refines important onscreen objects (e.g., people’s faces) in each scene; giving them a more lifelike quality with enhanced sharpness and three-dimensionality by applying tone mapping based on deep learning. In addition to fine-tuning image reproduction, the α9 AI Processor Gen6 powers LG’s AI Sound Pro, which provides virtual 9.1.2 surround sound from the TVs’ built-in speakers to help sweep viewers up in whatever they are watching.

Another significant upgrade applied to this year’s OLED evo G3 series is LG’s Brightness Booster Max technology, which incorporates brand-new light control architecture and light-boosting algorithms to increase brightness by up to 70 percent. Brightness is mapped and controlled on a pixel-by-pixel basis, resulting in sharper, more realistic images. The application of Super Anti Reflective technology effectively reduces visual distractions, such as light glare and reflections, so that users can focus all their attention on what’s on screen, even in a brightly lit environment.

LG’s 2023 G3 OLED evo models also boast an aesthetic upgrade via the introduction of the ultra-seamless One Wall Design. Leaving no visible gap when wall mounted, this year’s models bring style and effortless elegance to the living room or wherever users choose to install them. Furthermore, LG’s latest OLED TVs are easy to move or mount on the wall due to the use of a composite fiber material that reduces each unit’s overall weight. For installation flexibility, LG’s 2023 OLED evo C3 series models come with the Swivel Stand, which lets users turn the screen to match the angle of their viewing position.

New for this year, the OLED Care Program helps users to keep their LG OLED TVs performing at their best. The OLED Care Program includes the Memory Optimizer, a feature that improves device performance and provides Screen/Sound Self-diagnosis. It also gives users access to functions that help care for the TV’s OLED panel, such as Pixel Cleaning, Screen Move, Adjust Logo Brightness, and Care Recommendations. OLED Care can be accessed at any time using the shortcut key button on the remote control.

LG’s latest TVs set themselves apart from the competition with a refreshed, more personalized, user experience in 2023. Featuring the latest version of webOS, this year’s models introduce the All New Home: a redesigned user interface (UI) that offers a wealth of customization options and more convenience than ever. The new Quick Cards – grouped into convenient categories such as Home Office, Gaming, Music, and Sports – present users with a fast, simple way to access the content and services they use the most.
The Home Office Card on LG TV brings together several productivity apps and services that are ideal for those working from home. For instance, users can transform their LG TV into a state-of-the-art workstation by setting up cloud-based virtualization solutions, including Windows 365 which delivers Cloud PCs—a complete and secure Windows experience hosted in the Microsoft Cloud and accessible on any device. The Home Office Card also offers useful apps for accessing and organizing one’s schedule, and voice- and video-call apps that make it easy to communicate with colleagues and clients. Users can pair a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to enjoy the full work-from-home experience on LG TV.

The Music Card on the All New Home provides quick access to a variety of major music streaming services, while Sports Card serves up real-time updates and alerts to help users keep up to date with their favorite sports leagues, players, and teams. For a tailored sports fan experience on LG TV, customizable notifications bring users the information they want in real-time; letting them know when the big game is about to start, providing them with real-time scoring updates, and delivering the final result as soon as time is called. After saving their personalized preferences, users can enjoy receiving sports alerts on any LG TV just by logging into their user profile.
Designed for everyone, the new webOS makes it easy for anyone using the TV to enjoy personalized recommendations, which are determined based on viewing history and viewing habits. Helping deliver a deeply personalized user experience on LG OLED TV is AI Concierge. In addition to presenting each user with a curated list of content choices based on their past usage and search inquiries, AI Concierge provides a selection of keywords for browsing trending content. It also suggests useful settings, options and modes (including the Family care setting, Eye Comfort mode, Multi-View mode, clock setting, Bluetooth speaker connection, and mute sound) for customizing the viewing and user experience.

It is also compatible with the new smart home standard, Matter, giving users the ability to control and monitor a wide range of smart home devices from a growing list of global manufacturers, using only their LG TV.

Premium home cinema solutions, LG OLED TVs continue to support the image- and audio-enhancing capabilities of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. What’s more, this year’s LG TVs offer seamless integration with the latest LG Sound Bars, supplying outstanding multi-channel surround sound with IMAX Enhanced Sound quality powered by DTS:X. LG TV and LG Sound Bar also combine to offer WOW Orchestra, which utilizes every audio channel across both products to create stronger, more immersive sound, and the convenient WOWCAST, which makes it possible to connect the two devices wirelessly.

Furthermore, LG’s 2023 OLED TV models support several features enabled by HDMI 2.1a, the most recent update to the HDMI specification. They are also the first TVs to be certified by the HDMI organization for the recently announced Quick Media Switching Variable Refresh Rate (QMS-VRR). QMS-VRR can eliminate the momentary ‘black screen’ that sometimes occurs when switching between content played from different source devices connected to the TV via HDMI.

The ultimate gaming displays, LG’s self-lit OLED TVs come with an ultra-fast 0.1 millisecond response time, low input lag and up to four HDMI 2.1 48Gbps bandwidth ports. LG OLED TVs are also equipped with the Game Optimizer; allowing users to quickly select and switch between game-genre display presets, including the new, customizable ‘User’ preset, and many other gaming-specific features. Settings for G-SYNC®Compatible, FreeSync™ Premium and HDMI-VRR with HGiG are easily accessible from the Game Optimizer as well. Additionally, LG OLED TVs feature the Game Dashboard, an overlay menu that provides a range of useful controls and information on display settings and performance that users can quickly access while they play.

Beyond its award-winning OLED TVs, LG has added new QNED TVs to its diverse 2023 lineup. The premium LCD TVs leverage the company’s very own Quantum Dot NanoCell Color technology to produce rich, accurate and extremely lifelike colors that help create memorable and highly immersive viewing experiences. Equipped with QNED Million Grey Scale Block Dimming technology10, the latest QNED Mini LED TVs are capable of delivering contrast and black levels that come close to those of OLED. LG’s 2023 Mini LED TVs improve contrast expression by 64 times compared to their predecessors to achieve one million, dynamic gradations, Moreover, the company’s 2023 QNED TVs have a design that is both slimmer than that of their predecessors and matches better with LG’s new soundbar products.

Helping to curb resource consumption, LG OLED TVs require fewer materials to produce than conventional LED TVs as their self-lit pixels mean there is no need for a backlighting unit. 2023 LG OLED TVs and QNED TVs employ components made from recycled plastics and are even shipped in packaging made from recyclable materials and featuring single-color printing. On top of that, the packaging of the TV remote control comes in is made from biomaterial that decomposes when placed in the ground.

Easier on viewers’ eyes thanks to their low blue light performance, the displays used in LG’s 2023 OLED TVs are certified Eyesafe® by TÜV Rheinland. The Eye Comfort mode on LG 2023 TVs adjusts the intensity of blue light produced by each pixel to minimize color distortion and create a warmer color temperature, resulting in better, more natural colors. LG’s new OLED displays have also earned Flicker-Free Display and Discomfort Glare Free certifications from UL Solutions.

Committed to making technology more inclusive, LG has implemented various features that make its latest TVs easier to use for people with disabilities. A long press on the LG Magic Remote’s mute button brings up the accessibility menu, where users can find Learn TV Remote, which teaches them remote control’s features. Improving accessibility for the hearing impaired, Sign Language Zoom allows users to adjust the size of the area where the sign language interpreter is shown on screen. LG TVs can also play sound through their built-in speakers and a Bluetooth device, such as a hearing aid, simultaneously. Users with hearing difficulties can connect their hearing aid to the TV via Bluetooth, or by connecting a transmitter to one of the TV’s HDMI ports and adjust the volume with their hearing aids’ controls.

10 Years of LG OLED: A Decade at the Top and No Sign of Slowing Down

This year, LG OLED celebrates its 10th anniversary – a monumental achievement that owes much to LG’s tenacity and innovative spirit. It was in 2013 that the company first introduced OLED TV to the world, overcoming a variety of technical difficulties and much skepticism from industry experts. When others turned to other technologies, LG saw an opportunity to usher in a new era for the television by investing heavily in this unchartered territory, and the rest is history. LG OLED has evolved into a mainstay of the premium TV market in just 10 years through its unmatched contrast which enables perfect blacks and true-to-life colors, as well as its unprecedented flexibility and thinness.

LG OLED TV has been ranked No. 1 selling OLED TV brand for 10 consecutive years by Omdia

During its decade at the top, LG OLED has time and again been recognized as the best. The plaudits started even before the official release of the company’s first OLED TV model, as evidenced by the 11 consecutive years that LG OLED has been honored at the annually-held CES Innovation Award and the numerous accolades it has received from major publications, including several “Best TV of the Year” titles and countless claims of being “the best TV I’ve ever reviewed,” “a true Marvel” and “the king of TVs.” LG’s OLED TVs account for 60 percent of all OLED TVs sold worldwide, and exceeded 15 million units in terms of cumulative shipments at the end of last year.

After successfully mass producing its (and the world’s) first 55-inch Full HD OLED TV in 2013, LG has continued to push boundaries with its OLED-optimized hardware and software innovations. Among the company’s many groundbreaking OLED products are the paper-thin Wallpaper TV from 2017, and 2020’s unprecedented Rollable TV, which features a display that can roll down and disappear into the TV’s base. This year, the company introduced the world’s largest OLED TV – the new 97-inch wireless model – and, back in 2019, it was the first to release an 88-inch 8K OLED TV. Additionally, LG has delivered TV software innovations that have further strengthened the capabilities and user experience offered by LG OLED, including its image- and sound-enhancing α (Alpha) 9 AI Processors, and the usability- and convenience-boosting webOS platform.

The premium TV market leader for the past 10 years, LG has improved public awareness of OLED through continuous and progressive marketing activities centering on the uniqueness of OLED and the development and refinement of its self-lit display technology. LG has been carrying out engaging campaigns focusing on a range of different arenas – from movies and sports to gaming and the world of art – and highlighting elements that are unique to OLED, such as self-emissive pixels, perfect blacks, vivid colors, slim design, and diverse form factors.

In the visually stunning and emotionally moving “Aurora” campaign (2016), the accurate image reproduction of LG’s 4K OLED TVs brings the incomparable beauty of the Northern Lights to life, expressing the full range of colors and the depth of the night sky with incredible realism. Also in 2021, LG’s “Light Up Your World” campaign, which included a TV commercial and four accompanying online videos, highlighted the memorable, emotionally impactful user experience that only LG OLED and its self-lit pixels can provide. On top of that, the company has been showcasing the incredible image quality of its OLED TVs, and the exciting new possibilities for artistic expression they offer, with the global LG OLED ART project, established in 2021.

LG has also teamed up with diverse lifestyle brands to deliver the unique ways LG OLED TVs better everyday life, like its CES 2023 showcase in collaboration with Moooi which presented a high-end experience highlighting its commitment to addressing consumers’ diverse needs and priorities. At 2022 London Craft Week, LG and leading lifestyle retailer, The Conran Shop, delivered visual magic to its Chelsea and Marylebone locations through the artistry inspired by LG OLED evo TV.

In recent years, LG has been on a journey to provide next-level lifestyle value through introducing new OLED innovations under the Lifestyle Screen umbrella to offer a diverse user experience catered to segmented user needs. For example, LG OLED FLEX, a bendable gaming TV, delivers a one-screen-fits-all solution – one that is able to change from flat to curved whenever the user wants. The unique, distinctive TVs from the LG OLED Objet Collection, meanwhile, add beauty and style to any interior.

Never content to rest on its laurels, LG continues to defy convention and break new ground to drive the evolution of OLED and unlock new lifestyle experiences based on customer value. Among the LG OLED products unveiled at CES 2023 are the 97-inch LG SIGNATURE OLED M, which is the world’s first OLED TV capable of displaying a wirelessly transmitted AV signal at 4K 120Hz that allows users to freely design their living spaces, and the OLED T with its transparent screen that brings users a whole new level of spatial freedom. In addition, LG continues to provide advanced TV technologies such as the α 9 Gen 6 AI Processor and Brightness Booster Max, both of which improve the image quality and performance of LG OLED evo. And then there is webOS 23, which serves up the most personalized user experience of any webOS version yet.

LG has been working tirelessly for the past decade to realize the immense potential of OLED. Building on what it has achieved so far, the company will continue to create and innovate over the next decade, exploring more of the near-limitless possibilities presented by its self-lit technology to deliver ever-greater customer value.

LG’S New OLED TV with Zero Connect Technology Redefines Freedom to Design Your Space

A Stunning Achievement, the Larger-Than-Life 97-inch OLED TV Comes With Real Time Video and Audio Wireless Transmission up to 4K 120Hz

LG Electronics (LG) is introducing its 97-inch LG SIGNATURE OLED M (model M3), the world’s first consumer TV with Zero Connect technology, a wireless solution capable of real-time video and audio transmission at up to 4K 120Hz. The revolutionary new OLED TV M3 delivers superior picture and sound quality as well as greater flexibility to install and connect. A stunning achievement of technology and design, LG’s wireless 4K OLED is the recipient of CES 2023 Innovation Awards in two categories.
Unlike conventional TVs, where all input ports for connecting external devices are located on the rear or sides, the M3 comes with a separate Zero Connect box that sends video and audio signals wirelessly to LG’s cinematic, 97-inch screen. Because it can be placed away from the TV, the Zero Connect box helps to create a cleaner, distraction-free viewing environment and gives users greater freedom to arrange their space. The box comes with multiple ports for plugging in commonly used HDMI devices, such as cable/satellite set-top boxes and gaming consoles and can also connect wirelessly with compatible soundbars for richer, more powerful audio and additional cable-free convenience. Along with offering users more freedom when curating their space, the M3 and its Zero Connect box allows users to easily install the new LG OLED TV without entangled cables. What’s more, without any wires to disturb users from enjoying their viewing experiences, the sleek minimalism of the 97-inch TV’s One Wall Design becomes even more breathtaking to behold.
LG’s wireless solution leverages state-of-the-art technologies to provide reliable video and audio transmission to the M3’s self-lit OLED screen, allowing users to enjoy content at 4K 120Hz and clear, crisp sound without interruption or degradation of quality. To ensure the seamless transfer of data from the box to the TV, the company developed an algorithm that instantly identifies the optimal transmission path. The algorithm also helps to minimize transmission errors or disruptions as it can recognize changes in the immediate environment – such as people or pets moving around the room – and switch paths accordingly. Additionally, for maximum signal strength, the box’s antenna can be easily rotated and/or tilted to align with the TV’s location. For maximum usability, the Zero Connect box is voice recognition-enabled, meaning users can turn on and manage the M3 and connected devices using simple, spoken commands.
Despite the imposing size of its screen, the M3 blends in effortlessly with one’s interior décor courtesy of its understated One Wall Design. The M3 and its integrated bracket sit flush against the wall with no visible gap, presenting a chic, art gallery aesthetic that augments the TV’s outstanding self-lit picture quality.

LG’s cutting-edge 4K OLED TV with Zero Connect wireless solution will be on show during CES 2023 from January 5-8 at the company’s booth (#15501, Central Hall, Las Vegas Convention Center). Keep up with all of LG’s exciting announcements at CES by following #LGCES2023 on social media.

LG: The Evolution of OLED evo

With the introduction of anything new, there’s always a fever pitch to get under the hood and explore what's inside. This is true for all industries especially in this day and age of vlogging and content creation. New menu items from your favorite restaurant, a facelift of a fan-favorite car model, next-gen gaming consoles, and of course, electronic equipment are some of the most popular things to compare and contrast to previous iterations. LG’s award winning OLED TVs are no exception. Its newest offering, the LG OLED evo, has been a hot topic for content creators worldwide. To help shed light on some of the OLED evo’s mystery, we go into detail about what’s new that it brings to the table.

What is LG OLED evo?
Simply put, LG OLED evo is the technological spirit behind the TVs, not a designation of a specific part. OLED evo is LG’s exclusive OLED technology which combines cutting-edge dynamic tone mapping and the powerful α9 Gen5 AI Processor. No matter what panel or parts may be used in the individual unit, all 42-inch C2 OLED TVs will meet the same picture quality standards.

While some other electronics companies might use the same underlying OLED hardware, what sets LG apart is their own processing technologies and models to finetune and enhance performance – which is why OLED evo is such a compelling choice for consumers. OLED evo leverages the superior capabilities of LG’s α9 Gen 5 intelligent processor to deliver outstanding picture quality. The combination of these features and qualities makes the OLED evo technology a cut above the rest.

All LG OLED evo TV variants, the 42”, 48” and 52” all offer industry-leading OLED technologies that go beyond hardware. They are all powered by the powerful α9 Gen5 AI Processor which optimizes the picture for more immersiveness, has foreground and back-ground effect enhancing, and reduces picture noise and offers better resolution upscaling. Whether you’re watching high definition 4K content or 20 year old videos, the picture quality is automatically adjusted to bring you the best possible viewing experience. It also provides viewers with more lifelike audio, enabling the TVs’ built-in speakers to produce virtual 7.1.2 surround sound. Even without the use of additional speakers, you get to experience clear and crisp sound.

Another key feature of OLED evo TVs is the Picture quality algorithm, which includes dynamic tone mapping that looks at the brightest and darkest areas in over 5,000 areas of the screen and then calibrates the best HDR for each of those areas. This means that optimal HDR can be applied for over 5,000 areas of the screen for optimal color expression. See colors as they should - dark areas stay dark as onyx and brights are exceptionally light.
Go beyond the panel and dive in with LG’s innovative OLED evo technology. Visit lg.com/ph for more product information. LG OLED evo TVs are available at authorized retailers nationwide and at LG’s official flagship stores in Lazada and Shopee.
