Watch Batman's featurette from Justice League

I separated a post about Batman from the other featurettes of the Justice League and I think it's cool. Batman doesn't have any superpowers but he just got real of being RICH.

Bruce Wayne aka Batman played by Ben Affleck gets applauses from his first appearance in Batman V Superman and I think this stays for a while and I aint complaining. Watch the evolution of Gotham's caped crusader in the video below.

Do you love Batman? Let me know in the comments. Justice League opens in theaters, November 16.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle movie review

"Manners maketh man." This quote has strongly been associated with one of the most anticipated movies of 2017, Kingsman: The Golden Circle continues the life of Eggsy (Taron Egerton) as a secret agent of the Kingsman agency. And for all of us who are fans of the franchise, brace yourselves as The Golden Circle has a lot more than what we saw in the trailers. Kingsman: The Golden Circle opens in theaters, September 20 and is best seen on IMAX.

Matthew Vaugh has stitched The Golden Circle from a lot of elements in The Secret Service that we missed. Your eyes will be glued to the screen since the beginning with spontaneous and swell action scenes. From linking the villains and how Gallahan was raised from the dead.

Injected with relatively good dosage of humor with low-key discussions on some "very familiar" society issues, The Golden Circle is never boring to watch. Though it contains a little gruesome clips that are not for the weak stomach, it still maintained its balance with the sleek getup of the agents and hot gears and weaponry.

It also contains some heartbreaks of losing very significant characters but Elton John is one very important cameo that makes this movie beyond guns and skills. Putting my favorite though to Whiskey (Pedro Pascal) with the lasso skills.

GOING IN STYLE movie review

Learn how to get a huge retirement from the seniors, Alan Arkin, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman in the remake of the 1979 heist comedy, Going in Style by Warner Bros. Pictures. Now showing in cinemas nationwide.
You know how I love stories of old people enjoying their lives and having good ties with their friends. Going In Style showed us that friendship can be forever no matter what circumstances. Alan Arkin, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman were perfectly cast for this as they give punchlines well. You will never go wrong having these three, like the Three Stooges in a more classy fashion. Take my word that you'll get immersed into their activity. You'll laugh and cheer for excitement on how they are going to pull off the heist and escape the FBI. A really feel good movie that young ones will even appreciate.
You have to watch this with the family so that you can also appreciate from different generations.

POWER RANGERS movie review

So I think I might forgotten how the story goes since Power Rangers was shown when I was just around 7 to 10. Now that the Saban TV series is now a movie franchise, I tried to recall all elements from the show and compared it with the movie.
The Power Rangers is a group of teenagers (check!) that acquired super powers by being the chosen few to save the world from a villain, Rita Repulsa (check!) and her minions. Led by Jason (check!) as the Red Ranger (check!), joined by 4 others, are set to a quest to defend the earth from future destruction (storyline check!).

They have taken a new approach on the origins of the Rangers and why Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks) wants to conquer earth so bad, I thought that there are major elements that are missed in the movie. They should shout "Mastodon - Pterodactyl - Triceratops - Sabre-toothed Tiger - Tyrranosaurus" to morph themselves into Power Rangers. That's how they can get the unknown bond between them and their own vehicles. The coins didn't do much on their morphing as they were just instruments to discover the new breed of Rangers.
Major twist, Rita Repulsa was a previous Ranger. Before, she was an evil witch trying to rule the universe with her minions. Now, with her greed to collect all energy crystals from all planets, there is also no reason why she first looks for gold instead of the crystal which can give her greater power.

There's a plot hole that crushed the concept of them having unbelievable strength they acquired upon discovering the coins. When Rita Repulsa tried to kill blue Billy (RJ Cycler/Blue Ranger), suddenly all of them have to help carry him. And the origin story is too long and the fight scene just took less than 10 minutes I think.

A few things great about Power Rangers -- they maintained actors diversity just like the TV series. There's White, Black, Asian, and even a lesbian is part of the characters. Making it very human and adapting to the times. New outfit is better and I liked it too with the metallic accents and works. I just LOL'd on the scene which Rita Repulsa made herself comfortable with a piece of Krispy Kreme and a cup of coffee before she started destroying the Rangers home town. Plus a good cameo by Amy Jo Johnson and Jason David Frank at the end.

this is the romance that Belle and the Beast are talking about

If you've seen Beauty and the Beast already, you might remember the scene where Belle mocks Beast about a book he is reading at the gardens. It's Guinevere and Lancelot, a romance within the story of King Arthur and the knights of the roundtable.
But enough of the Disney flick, Warner Bros adapts the story of the mighty Excalibur and an epic movie featuring Charlie Hunnam and Jude Law. This fantasy introduces a streetwise young Arthur who runs the back alleys of Londonium with his gang, unaware of the life he was born for until he grasps hold of the sword Excalibur—and with it, his future. Instantly challenged by the power of Excalibur, Arthur is forced to make some hard choices. Throwing in with the Resistance and a mysterious young woman named Guinevere, he must learn to master the sword, face down his demons and unite the people to defeat the tyrant Vortigern, who stole his crown and murdered his parents, and become King.
Also featuring Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, and Eric Bana. Ritchie directs the film from a screenplay by Joby Harold and Guy Ritchie & Lionel Wigram, story by Joby Harold.

Here's the trailer for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, opening May 11, 2017 in theaters.
