LG Philippines Gives a Warm Welcome to Changwon LG Sakers

The Changwon LG Sakers, a professional basketball team based in South Korea, is back in the Philippines for a series of tune up games against local PBA and UAAP teams. The team is based in Changwon and has LG Electronics as its major sponsor, which is also based in the same city. Justin Gutang, one of the collegiate standouts from College of Saint Benilde, also recently joined the Sakers.

LG Electronics Philippines’ Managing Director Mr Sungjae Kim and LG Philippines Product Director Mr Changsoo Jang, handed over units of LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifiers to LG Sakers headed by Head Coach Sang Hyun Cho, together with Justin Gutang, their Filipino player.

 

Lee Gwan Hee, who used to play locally for the Phoenix Fuel Masters, was happy to be back in the country. “I think both our PBA and KBL (experience) made it possible to level up in our playing field.” Gutang gamely talked to the media about his new stint for KBL. “It has been amazing so far, it’s a blessing.”

In a quick meet and greet event at The Arena at Kerry Sports, BGC, LG PH Managing Director Mr. Sungjae Kim and LG PH Product Director Changsoo Jang met with the team and gave all the players LG Puricare Wearable Air Purifiers to use while they are in the country. The LG PuriCare AeroTower - Experience Nature's Pure Breeze Inside Your Home

For Filipinos, one of the most common fixtures you’ll see in every home is an electric fan. It’s not rare for every room to have at least one, even two in some cases. LG Product Manager, Jave Enriquez highlighted the features and aesthetically pleasing design of the new AeroTower. Inspired by the Red Canyon, it is part appliance and part work of art, adding elegance to any space in your home or work. It gives three different airflows that fits to your liking. There are 10 speed settings and virtually quieter than a library for only 23 decibels. It also tells you the air quality so you can breathe cool and pure, clean air.

The AeroTower can also be operated in three different ways - through manual touch control on the unit, through a remote control and also using LG’s ThinQ app.

LG brought in influencers from all walks of life to share their thoughts on how the AeroTower is a direct upgrade to their home or work setup. Architect and beauty queen, Shamcey Supsup-Lee, gushed how the AeroTower perfectly blends form and function. “Even if the AeroTower was just a fan or just an air-purifier, it can hold its own with any designer furniture or artwork on display. PINOCCHIO (2022) movie review

Disney's live adaptation of the 1940 classic Pinocchio still wins hearts and teaches a great lesson of love, bravery, honesty, selflessness. This new take on the living puppet justifies some of the important elements that we may have missed or forgotten in the animated version.

Starting off with Jiminy Cricket (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) coming into Geppetto's home as a homeless insect and witnessed how the puppeteer created and named the wooden art before it was given life by a heartfelt wish. We can sense that Geppetto (Tom Hanks) lost his only son and his coping mechanism is creating Pinocchio. There are also lots of clocks in his home and he says that his wife loves all his creations. There might have been unfortunate things that happened to his wife and he kept his senses straight by keeping busy.

The 2022 version has many noticeable differences from the older animation. When Pinocchio joined the Stromboli puppet show, meeting a fellow marionette, getting into Pleasure Island, and when he saved his father from a giant sea monster, Robert Zemeckis' version deliberately put more magic for everyone who will watch it.
