RIDDICK movie review

when the third of a series of RIDDICK's (Vin Diesel) adventures, he now tries to survive in an alien planet, dealing with new lifeforms. more so, as a fugitive in intergalactic security, he is now hunted by a new breed of mercenaries and another soldier captained by a man in his past.
being one of the first people who saw Riddick in the cinema, thankful that Solaire Resort and Casino was able to host the screening at Greenbelt 3. as Riddick's adventures started very interesting, since he finds a way to survive on his own while surrounded by alien predators. he also came about to adapt to the surroundings, despite the lack of vegetation and food. he also came to be able to train a wolf-like creature to be able to assist in his lonesome.
the story became a little boring with a little human intervention. with Batista (Dave Bautista) growing some hair and going radical in his looks, he was someone to be laughed out about. imagine an epitome of strong man with the image from bullying weaker characters from a wrestling show, he showed the weaknesses himself. but he stayed longer so fans would not get disappointed to see their idol. somehow i liked the effects with the animals and all.
RIDDICK opened September 18 in theaters nationwide. again, thanks to Solaire Resort and Casino for hosting the event. we even had freebies given away for promos. oh i miss that fun.

Miracle Art opens in Manila

i always loved art but i never had a fun experience getting "into" the art. the MIRACLE ART EXHIBIT which was installed in Lucky Chinatown Mall in Binondo was a lot of fun because of you can actually be part of the huge murals and capture the moment. you might as well blow it up and have it framed and hang the new art in your home too.
getting an octopus out of the house
I painted the sea
Playing with the dolphin
getting a #Selfie with an ape
falling with Russel and Mr. Fredricksen
there are a lot of galleries to be found and that's just 5 photos i had at the exhibit. [view more here]. there's Animal Kingdom, Jurassic Period, Angel / Wings Gallery, Fantasy Hall, Movies, Romantic Gallery and Biblical Hall. go check it out at the 3F of Annex B of Lucky Chinatown.

ROBOCOP on the works for 2014

in total nostalgia over this movie coming in 2014. i have been a fan of ROBOCOP and it is nice to know that the movie will have its remake after nearly 30 years.
Official Poster
to refresh, Robocop is about a valiant law enforcer that was badly injured during an encounter with the wrong doers in his city. in order to preserve his especially the costume too. the gear has been upgraded and grew some abs, compared from the original armor. i just find it way cooler than the original as it was looking more metallic than a more human-superhero approach. not to mention that his guns go out of the thighs which is a great iconic feature. i also like it in black.

Samuel L. Jackson and Abbie Cornish star in this movie that for now i'm sure people would be lining up to the cinemas. distributed by Columbia Pictures in the Philippines. check out the trailer below.

Taal Volcano as seen in Katy Perry's Roar video

the Philippines must have been very proud of seeing a famous natural attraction in the international scene. the Taal Volcano, as seen from the Taal Lake is seen in Katy Perry's latest video, Roar. here's a screencap of the video:
the song was also quite good too. just as i've observed, Alanis Morissette influence is pretty obvious right? i also loved the Dr. Jones approach here mixed with a Tarzan with vibrant colors. here's the complete video of ROAR:
