a sneak peek in Alice in Wonderland

26 years is a great achievement for Repertory Philippines' Theater For Young Audiences (TFYA), headed by Ms. Joy Virata who pioneered the company to reach out to the children to appreciate classic stories and even theater arts. they also want to instill creativity and make children dream and increase imagination. for this year, they are proud to present a Lewis Carroll classic, Alice in Wonderland, which opens August 17, 2013 at OnStage, Greenbelt 1, Makati City.

the colorful production about Alice who was lost in a different world called Wonderland, is portrayed by our favorite Rep actors and will be presented in the way you've never seen before. the story that will make you laugh and crazy throughout the show. our cast, Alice, the Mad Hatter, the Dormouse, rushing Clock Rabbit, the Ceshire Cat and others. for Rep's second run of the children's musical, the costumes were inspired by Origami incorporated in the development of designs by Raven Ong.

the sneak peek was indeed a crazy party with the set up resembling the tea party. hosted by Bizu, the guests enjoyed the scones and macarons, plus drinks that say "Drink Me." i enjoyed it a lot too immersing in the experience that Alice had.

Alice in Wonderland from Repertory Philippines' Theater for Young Audiences is directed by Ms. Joy Virata and will feature great talents from Rep's pool, Reb Atadero, Joel Trinidad, and Bituin Escalante. running from August 17 to December 2013 at Onstage theater, Greenbelt 1, Makati City.

DESPICABLE ME 2 movie review

and so Gru comes back with his adorable minions and adopted daughters in this cute sequel of Despicable Me. Despicable Me 2 tells us the life of a converted Gru (Steve Carell) from a madman to a reformed father to his 3 daughters. the former villain living a peaceful life was off to another adventure that would either put him back to his old self where he's comfortable while the life of the people he loves is at stake.

with a classified mission to take down a villain that wants to rule over the world, Gru experienced dilemmas that may affect his personal life. a kindling love story of his recruiter from AVL (Anti-Villain League), a woman named Lucy, which his adopted daughters easily got along well with; and a young love sparking with Margo. but with Gru's strong will didn't stop him to fight against these problems and brought back the people, and minions, that he love.

in this movie, we'll see that Gru has turned up more to be a family man, now that he has a woman to cherish with. started with providing for Agnes' birthday party, his skills and gadgets and also made ways of making the family affair more exciting.

of course, the Despicable Me experience is not complete without the fun and cute minions that will entertain you from start to finish. there's really something that makes these banana-eating potatoes adorable. we'll have more look of Gru's minions at work, at play, or at mission, and how they got most of the spotlight in this sequel.

as a whole, Despicable Me 2 gives out the strength of Gru and exposes his weakness in relationships. how he makes his persona to be protecting what he has. a less villainy Gru now trying to save the world that makes him a better father image.

Despicable Me 2 is now showing in theaters, and distributed by Solar Entertainment Corporation. don't forget to stay until 3 scenes during the credits as it would be fun with minions. i guess there'd be another sequel. hmmm.

CADBURY DAIRY MILK unveils largest chocolate fountain

a first in the world, Cadbury Dairy Milk in partnership of Mondelez and Ace Saatchi and Saatchi Philippines, is another musical and creamy chocolate experience for everyone. the first chocolate fountain that combines music, great visuals and the smoothness and creaminess of Cadbury Dairy Milk stand from July 6 to August 5 in SM Megamall Activity Center.

launched yesterday, the set up of full Cadbury colors, attended by Mondelez, the makers of Cadbury; press and online media people gathered around the giant creamy chocolate fountain as it was unveiled for everyone. the chocolate fountain stands high up to 2 levels of SM Megamall and an area covering the whole activity center. the fountain is divided into 2 parts, piano keys that resemble like Cadbury Dairy Milk, and pipes that ooze out Cadbury goodness for every tune that you make.

the launch also featured sweet serenades by The Company, Jessy Mendiola and Jake Cuenca who captured audience smiles just like the happiness delivered by a bite of Cadbury Dairy Milk. the actors also got the chance to try the chocolate fountain first hand mixing some lively tunes made by the chocolate fountain. an orchestra also accompanied the guests with soulful and pop music.

KATHNIEL magic in Got To Believe

another ABS-CBN show bring this year's hottest love team on Primetime TV. Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo star in a love story that will make you laugh and love at the same time. Got To Believe, directed by Cathy Molina airs soon on ABS-CBN.
