can't decide on these Valentine concerts

there are major concerts happening on Valentines Day, February 14 2013. yes, two different concerts featuring OPM and foreign artists. this would make fans like me very confused on deciding which concert to go to.

for all those OPM lovers out there, Martin Nievera, Pops Fernandez, Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid will have a FOURSOME at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

on the other hand, Ovation Productions brings Jessica Sanchez and Colton Dixon at the Big Dome, Smart Araneta Coliseum.

and lastly, Side A, Top Suzara and Jinky Vidal will be having their own collaborative concert at Resorts World Manila.

waaah! my favorite artists in one day! i just don't know which one to go to! i've seen Jessica and Colton during their AI Tour last year but i want to see our OPM artists live for the first time. if you're to choose, which one would you go to?

OSCAR 2013 nominations

the countdown on night that will tell who's the best among the rest has finally began. the Academy has officially announced the contenders for this year's Oscar Awards. well surprisingly, The Hobbit didn't get the nominations for Best Picture. it's unusual for me because The Lord of the Rings trilogy got the Best Picture and Best Direction for a Feature film with Peter Jackson.

but now, as it was lately announced, i am so happy to see many of the movies i've seen were nominated. Argo, Life of Pi, Mirror Mirror, Snow White and the Huntsman, Skyfall are the movies that i saw from the past year. and the other movies like Zero Dark Thirty and Silver Linings Playbook are yet to be seen. hope they can get it her in the Philippines soon so everybody can check.

LIFE OF PI movie review

in this world where people are in doubt of God, Academy-Award winner Ang Lee presents a wonderful adaptation of the LIFE OF PI. opening our eyes on religion, life and peace and how it correlates everything around us.

well, India for one is a very spiritual country and the LIFE OF PI showed big differences in Christianity, Hinduism and Islam. though these religions separate each other's beliefs, there is only one fact that dominates them, the love and search for God. Pi makes everyone think of our own faith regardless of religion we're in. in his context, God is present at all things. He is present watching, He loves us but doesn't spoil us. He wants us to come to him and be of service and not to ask for our own benefit. this manifested in his survival in spite of danger with a tiger companion in the wilderness.

production of the movie is quite amazing. from the presentation of the storm waves up to the unexpected nightscapes will give a glorious view of nature. a perfect watch on 3D and with your family. Suraj Sharma as Pi was also given the biggest break of his life in this movie. but don't expect a Bollywood ending.

starting January 9, find yourself in this magical journey with Pi as he discovers his purpose, finding his strength and an unlikely friendship. LIFE OF PI is distributed by 20th Century Fox, directed by Ang Lee.
