007 JAMES BOND SKYFALL movie review

James Bond fans will never get disappointed seeing SKYFALL, the latest installment from the James Bond franchise. as Daniel Craig reprises the role, this movie takes him back to go to basics.
the story starts with a chase as Bond tries to get a drive which contains very important information on national security.
extremely difficult stunts crashing into an entire Istanbul, until they get onto a train where the manual fight is done. i was brought back to Taken 2 where i saw the roof chase. the first half of the movie shows his weaknesses. he'll get shot by another MI6 agent as directive of M (Judy Dench). of course, everything has a reason but it was not expected by the whole MI6 team.

with that escape, M's loyalty to the state would be questionable and has rose suspicions even with 007. and as 007 trusted, he has to track where this will be used and for him to save M from anything that might put her in danger.

as i've said that James Bond goes back to basics, we will not see any highly sophisticated gadgets and weapons. a sexy girl will still be available but it won't be very necessary in the story, though it was a little helpful.

007 SKYFALL which opens today is directed by Sam Mendes under Metro Goldwyn Mayer and Columbia Pictures.

also this year, the Theater for Young Audiences will present Hans Christian Andersen's ALICE IN WONDERLAND. watch the opening song below. directed by Ms. Joy Virata and will be playing August 17 to December 15, 2013.

007 SKYFALL

i am looking forward to his new stunts and gadgets as James Bond. wasn't a fan much of Daniel Craig as 007 but seeing it SKYFALL like most of the others in the Philippines is a sure Halloween treat.
in Skyfall, Bond's (Daniel Craig) loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

007 SKYFALL is directed by Sam Mendes under Metro Goldwyn Mayer, distributed by Columbia Pictures.

i want a TINA ARENA concert

i was one of the little fans of Tina Arena when i was in high school around late 90s. when Burn was a smash hit on MTV, i was crashing my way to record stores, looking for a Tina Arena cassette or CD. it was funny that some people confuse it with Natalie Imbruglia's Torn until they sang it to have it familiarized.
here's Burn:
and just yesterday while we were hitting the road to an out of town event, me and my friend suddenly talked about her and how we sing our hearts out especially with If I Didn't Love You. that part with the "down-down-down" lyrics putting on much emotion.
as we played through our mp3s, i realized that her songs last up to more than 5mins. pretty long. and this Australian siren was making hits for almost a decade and we were more curious what she's been doing right now. she's doing little exposures and enjoying her family life in France but i am more interested in reviving her musical career in a concert here in Manila. so anyone please, produce her concert please! i'd really want to watch.

preparing for this

as Halloween approaches in 1 week, i should really be saving money for this:
Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay is a highly-acclaimed Pinoy movie that features the most popular aswang of them all -- Lilia Cuntapay in her first major film featuring her and made her won her first Best Actress Award in the CinemaOne Originals Film Festival.

at first we were all afraid of her but this lady flew all over the world gathering fans, Pinoy or not. and on October 31, in the tradition of Halloween, this would be the time that fans will line up. not to the cemetery entrances but to the cinemas. SM Cinemas bring the commercial release of Six Degress of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay.

so for you 'Nay Lilia, kudos from now on.
