Survivor Philippines’ Celebrity castaway Solenn Heussaff experiments herself as she enters the entertainment scene. After a successful and warm acceptance from the masses to her beautiful presence in Party Pilipinas, she now releases her own album under MCA Music. A self-titled album features 10 songs getting jiggy with new arrangements of some famous songs from the past decades.

  1. Fire
  2. All I Wanna Do
  3. Chemistry
  4. Ladies Night feat. Viktoria Vixen
  5. Selfish
  6. Kiss
  7. It’s Our First Time
  8. Sunshine
  9. Torn
  10. Ladies Night feat. Viktoria Vixen and Rjay of LDP

In a special press launch party held in RedBox Eastwood, Solenn also shared her thoughts on her love life and ideal man. Sorry but she’s already dating an unknown personality which she never disclosed. But she admits that she likes skinhead to bald-headed men because she likes touching it. She’s also very thankful of her successes in the industry which comes one by one. Not to mention that she also is the new “it” girl with her exceptional fashion sense.

She adds, she would love to have another album but this time, will carry original Filipino and even French songs. Knowing that she is a half-Filipino and half-French citizen, it will be good to create such an album. She also wants to develop more of her acting skills and to get into good movies or starring on TV.

You can follow Solenn Heussaff on Twitter @solennheussaff and catch her on Fashbook at GMANEWS TV and every Sunday on Party Pilipinas at GMA 7.

COWBOYS AND ALIENS movie review

it's another alien abduction story but now they are here for our gold. COWBOYS AND ALIENS from United International Pictures combines two veteran action stars, Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones, Star Wars) and Daniel Craig (007: Casino Royale), take on to busting aliens who were suspects in the disappearance of their families and friends. the wild west was not fully equipped against the high-tech gadgets and terrifying aliens.

at first, Jake Lonergan (Craig) was abducted by aliens but has been released and doesn't remember anything. on land, he is an outlaw searched by the government especially Woodrow Dolarhyde (Ford) for stealing gold. but as they found out that they can benefit each other, they have worked together along with other outlaws, redskins and a special weapon that Jake had stolen from his abduction.

if you want to see it, it was just a plain western movie. imagine Wild Wild West, Transformers and Independence Day combined.

COWBOYS AND ALIENS opens in Philippine Theaters on August 10 distributed by Solar Entertainment Corporation.

THE SMURFS movie review

the memories of childhood comes back to me as i've been able to see THE SMURFS in 3D. Columbia Pictures brings us the loved 80's little animated blue elves to life and now they have to barged in to our world and spread their love and magic.

Papa Smurf, Clumsy, Gutsy, Grouchy, Brainy and Smurfette (Katy Perry) were transported to our world through a vortex when the evil wizard, Gargamel (Hank Azaria), has discovered and destroyed Smurfville. unfortunately, he had followed them in New York. And with Clumsy's clumsiness, they all get refuge in a human's home with the Winslow couple, Patrick (Neil Patrick Harris) and Grace (Jayma Mays).

during their stay at the Winslow nest, fun and adventure has been glowing in the place. they also had been inspirations to Patrick's job, and his wife's household help.

but still, Gargamel never loses hope to capture all the Smurfs and extract their cuteness for his power. he followed every action of the Smurfs and almost successfully captured them. unexpectedly, the one who least trusted, Clumsy, saved them all.

a story that the new generation of kids will truly love, The Smurfs combines cuteness, funny dialogues and amazing visuals that also brings memories back to those who've seen it way back more than 20 years ago. an example of funny stuff would be Smurfette smurfing up Katy Perry songs. it's also a good view in 3D.

The Smurfs in 3D opens in Philippine theaters starting August 10. brought to us by Columbia Pictures Philippines. follow their Facebook account at http://facebook.com/ColumbiaPicturesPH to get updates of your favorite movies.

SWEET CHARITY review

9 Works Theatrical stages the hit Sweet Charity in tribute to jazz dance legend, Bob Fosse. the play will run from August 5 2011 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium in RCBC Plaza, Ayala Avenue, Makati City.

this comedy-musical starred by Nikki Gil as Charity Hope Valentine, a taxi dancer looking for true love. a strong-willed woman, filled with hope and cheerful indeed; she speaks glowing words that can encourage you, compliment you and change your outlook in life to a positive one.Kris Lawrence, plays Oscar Linguist, an accountant that falls for Charity. the main cast includes Shiela Martinez, Sheree Bautista, OJ Mariano, and Miguel Faustman who equally played very good roles and with outstanding acting. the revelation is Kris Lawrence, the R&B singer from TV whom i had doubted the acting skills. for a first timer in theater, he really did good or maybe went to the level of the veteran actors that he is with. kudos Kris! and since i saw Nikki Gil from Legally Blonde, i really liked her in this. she had it as her own. Ciara and Sheree's research on their characters have really paid off. you will laugh as hard as you laugh with Charity and Oscar.

in the films with truly Bob Fosse craft like Chicago and the like, the choreography and set is overwhelming. the whole production of music and choreography will introduce you to Bob Fosse. and the stage is really amazing! watch it like it was a real movie in the silver screen. you will get transported to 1960s era with the dance and costumes beautifully made. i also remembered Austin Powers in one segment. LOL

congratulations to director Robbie Guevarra and the whole production team for giving us another wonderful show. please keep doing fun musicals. :D

THE BEAVER movie review

from Summit Entertainment comes a highly-acclaimed movie directed by Jodie Foster. THE BEAVER, a drama that shows a person who tries to cope out of depression played by Mel Gibson. showing on August 10 exclusively at Ayala Cinemas (Glorietta 4, Greenbelt 3 and Trinoma)

this film wants us to understand people that undergo this kind of sickness. that we have to extend our compassion to every person as he is. each is your life-support. there are special groups that may deal on this kind of situations but it is still the family that can lift the faces of a depression-stricken person.

Celebrity treatment at FLAWLESS

just another day to maximize my relaxation and one thing that tops the list is to pamper myself. and this includes a pleasing facial treatment from FLAWLESS. i know that FLAWLESS is a known institution in aesthetic industry and i am very thankful being able to try their services.

since this was my first time to try FLAWLESS, i am also grateful of the good hospitality that they displayed. the attendants are nice and proper. they give you the best assistance towards the treating room. they give you analysis of your skin (in my case, my face) and suggests the best treatment that will erase your skin problems.

the area is also very comforting. though there's only one room with a lot of clinic beds, you can have your derma party with your friends.

as for me, i have acne problem so i had the acne control facial as suggested by my attendant. she explained how she will do the procedure to my face and what i will do after. she even showed me the creams and chemicals that she will use that we will use for the treatment. good thing that most of it are water-based, safe and rich in nutrients that are essential to the skin.

and before we end the session, she gave a back massage that really makes you feel that "celebrity treatment" in FLAWLESS.

check out FLAWLESS' services by visiting them at 5/F of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City or at these locations.

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS part 2 movie review

the much-awaited conclusion of Harry Potter series starts showing tomorrow, July 14 2011 worldwide and i am thankful for Warner Bros. Philippines for inviting me to an advanced special screening in 3D.

to continue from the last installment, Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) finds the Elder Wand from the tomb of Dumbledore and gains more power in order to kill Harry (Daniel Radcliffe). as he gathers more and more army of dark wizards, Harry and his friends Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) are off to find the horcruxes and destroy it.

from the first installment of Deathly Hallows, excitement arises in the developments of the movie. and from this 2nd part, the movie focuses on the battle of Harry and Voldemort. being a movie fan, not really read the books, i was also surprised from the back stories of each character. what you're gonna discover their roles on the life of Harry and what have they done to protect Hogwarts. a surprise hero called Longbottom grabbed the limelight killing the last horcrux.

the darkest of all the Harry Potter movies, this has improved from the kiddie-tone since Sorcerer's Stone. even the soundtrack is very Gregorian that you will anticipate something wrong to happen. however, the execution isn't that magical -- in fact, more realistic. it's good to watch in 3D too.

at the end, you will find that something is lacking. just don't leave your seats and enjoy the movie.
