Disney’s Frozen is coming to the Philippines in 2027

It’s about to be an snowy summer in April 2027 as 9 Works Theatrical brings the magical kingdom of Arendelle to the Philippines with Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical!

Theater fans can now start dreaming of snowflakes, ice palaces, and a certain unforgettable anthem as 9 Works Theatrical opens its search for the Filipino actors who will bring Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven, Olaf, and Prince Hans to life on the Philippine stage.

 
Based on Disney’s 2013 Academy Award-winning animated film, Frozen: The Broadway Musical expands the beloved story of sisters Elsa and Anna with new songs and scenes created specifically for the stage. The musical features music and lyrics by Oscar-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, whose score includes beloved songs from the film alongside new musical numbers written for Broadway.

 
The Broadway production opened in 2018 and received three Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical for Jennifer Lee, and Best Original Score for Anderson-Lopez and Lopez.

 
Now, the story of sisterhood, acceptance, and true love is set to find a new home in the Philippines.
So, who will be our Elsa? Our Anna? Our Kristoff, Olaf, Sven, and Hans?
