First impression was it's like a life of a country girl, pursuing her dreams in a busy urban jungle, finding love and returning to her hometown just to get things more complicated. At least it did not disappoint to give you a good feel and there's some girl power going on throughout it. With influences around that may support or distract her, she must do the right decision that will have give her happiness. I thought that I'm gonna cry at some point but Brooklyn gives us a play on emotions with our decisions in life.

Her love story is the classic love triangle but unlike other movies, Eilis (Ronan) confronts her own fault and at least getting back to her original decision where she captured the hearts of the audience. You'll love it, it got me hooked and would like to see some more.
