First look at Alicia Vikander in Tomb Raider

Warner Bros Pictures has released the first photos of Alicia Vikander as the video game heroine, Lara Croft. The franchise is in its reboot and was popularized by Angelina Jolie in 2001.

See Alicia Vikander in the set of Tomb Raider that will be in theaters March 2018.

Lara Croft, the fiercely independent daughter of a missing adventurer, must push herself beyond her limits when she finds herself on the island where her father disappeared.

Tomb Raider is directed by Roar Uthaug and written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet. Also starring Hannah John-Kamen, Walton Goggins as Mathias Vogel.

video games attack Earth in new comedy PIXELS

A new war on Earthlings vs aliens is featured in new comedy PIXELS which stars Adam Sandler and Kevin James. the movie is set to invade theaters in May 2015 and is directed by Chris Columbus. Posters reveal very familiar games, Donkey Kong, Gallaga, Space Invaders, Pacman and Centipede attacking world landmarks.

These games would appear to be alien assaults against the humans as video games seem to be a declaration of war against them. President Will Cooper (James) has to call on his childhood best friend, ’80s video game champion Sam Brenner (Sandler), now a home theater installer, to lead a team of old-school arcaders (Dinklage and Gad) to defeat the aliens and save the planet. Monaghan plays the team's unique weapons specialist.

The action-comedy is directed by Chris Columbus from a story by Tim Herlihy and a screenplay by Tim Herlihy and Timothy Dowling, based on the original short film of the same name by Patrick Jean. Produced by Adam Sandler, Chris Columbus, Mark Radcliffe, and Allen Covert.

I've tried WINEMA first -- the SM Winema experience

i never had this much fun inside the theater. aside from viewing the trailers of upcoming movies this summer, SM Digital Cinema introduces a first in entertainment: the WINEMA!

WINEMA stands for WE INTERACT WITH THE CINEMA and it gave it's first shot with the media people during it's launch at SM Digital Cinema in SM Megamall. the whole theater turned into an arcade type gaming area and the participants are everybody!

the WINEMA plays two games, BOINK OUT and POWER CATCHER where people movements are captured be a camera in front of them. the movement controls the cursor or character in the screen. each game runs for 3 minutes so wave your hands up high and have fun.

here's the catch, if you beat the highest score made by the previous audience, each moviegoer will get a prize!

WINEMA has a lot of opportunities for advertising. i think you can put a banner of your brand or better to maximize your exposure by creating your own WINEMA game!



WINEMA is initially available at SM MEGAMALL DIGITAL CINEMA 1 and soon will open to other branches.

Mark Herras and Chynna Hortaleza Certified Audistas

Mark Herras and Chynna Hortaleza are crowned certified Audistas on the first Audition Celebrity Dance Battle held on SOP last Sunday, June 7 at the GMA studios. they won over Rainier Castillo teamed with Ryza Cenon at the finals. Php 100,000 were awarded to Mark and Chynna, half of which is to be donated to a selected charity, IP Foundation, also supported by Audistas.


the judging criteria was divided 50-50 among judges and audience votes that kept the finalists upto the finals. other contenders were ultimate survivor JC with Starstruck princess, Yasmien Kurdi and Dominic Roco with Vaness del Moral.

the contest was inspired with the hit game, Audition, were you will play a dance routine -- keyboard based! your fingers will do the dancing to the tunes of our local bands. they also prepared extraordinary dance moves and colorful costumes that are Audition-inspired.
