MONA LOUISE REY celebrates 9th birthday with Diabetes patients

as part of her birthday wish, she decided to celebrate her 9th birthday at the ISDFI to lighten the smiles out of the kids despite the sickness that they have. she also wished for the well-being of people with diabetes and hoping that they will continue to live life no matter what. a simple but fun birthday party attended by around 30 kids with their parents, as well as few press, at the institute.

a netizen's choice: GMA NEWS TV

so there's a writing project about the netizens choice for their favorite TV station. with the network "wars" (if there really is) happening among fans, i would be really proud to say that GMA NEWS TV gets my vote on this one.

as all the other stations (ABS-CBN, TV5 and GMA7) strive to collect fans through their entertainment talents, there would be 3 reasons why i choose GMA NEWS TV.

1. programs are informative - it's a given. programs which promote Philippine culture, individual development, achievements on any aspects, we will truly be aware of what's happening to our surroundings. GMA NEWS TV not just deliver the news, they bring substance to the material they deliver.

2. balanced journalism - with such programs that involve controversial topics, GMA NEWS TV promotes balance arguments by taking both views from involved parties. the point of view is left to those who sees it but judgment is served by greater authority.

3. programs that push viewers to action. - sensitive subjects address not only the government [but mostly it is] but the concerned citizens that may be able to help those in need. the aim is to see the realities of the Filipino people.

4. it's on free TV. - the information they deliver doesn't have to be kept in private. that's why i admire GMA NEWS TV for its fearless exposition of issues and cases that surprise us.

this vote i hope isn't a killjoy to any other entries submitted. there were not guidelines to choose among the 3 giants on Philippine TV. i think people would think that this post would be really off of the choices where people choose only for the networks capitalizing on entertainment. GMA NEWS TV would really lead its league for news channels. don't get me wrong why most of my latest posts are angled to another station, that's a different story.

Solenn Heussaff releases music album under MCA Music

Survivor Philippines’ Celebrity castaway Solenn Heussaff experiments herself as she enters the entertainment scene. After a successful and warm acceptance from the masses to her beautiful presence in Party Pilipinas, she now releases her own album under MCA Music. A self-titled album features 10 songs getting jiggy with new arrangements of some famous songs from the past decades.

Sorry but she’s already dating an unknown personality which she never disclosed. But she admits that she likes skinhead to bald-headed men because she likes touching it. She’s also very thankful of her successes in the industry which comes one by one. Not to mention that she also is the new “it” girl with her exceptional fashion sense.

She adds, she would love to have another album but this time, will carry original Filipino and even French songs. Knowing that she is a half-Filipino and half-French citizen, it will be good to create such an album. She also wants to develop more of her acting skills and to get into good movies or starring on TV.

SP3: MYKA voted out of the game

Myka Flores, the person which make us laugh in Bubble Gang is not very lucky for Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown.

SP3: the THREE TRIBES

during the Tribal Council last week, the three tribe leaders are identified: Buwi, Aira and Jon as voted by the castaways. and now on Day 4, the whole tribe of celebrities are divided:

Sar Mayee

the tribes went for their first challenge as tribes and team Nagar won. prize includes materials for the shelter, flint, bolo, pot, water container and rice. but before the other tribes went to their respective camps, RG called for 3 representatives to go to Isla Misteryo.

and nobody knows what happens next.

SP3: PRINCESS QUITS and JON HALL voted team leader

after 2 days, Starstruck 5 avenger Princess Snell quits the competition since she cannot stand the survivor life in the island in Thailand. there's no food and good shelter in the island as what all castaways has to endure. her weakness was just a waste in the opportunity for the Php3M cash prize. the celebrities still stand at one tribe.

meanwhile at their first Tribal Council, the castaways had voted for their team leader. the contenders are Doc Ferds, Elma Muros and Jon Hall. Jon Hall received 8 votes winning the title.
