A SHAUN THE SHEEP MOVIE: FARMAGEDDON - movie review

This is the first time that I saw a Shaun the Sheep production and I can recommend it for you to watch it with your kids. It's 97% FRESH on Rotten Tomatoes so you'll have fun watching it.
Farmageddon has a familiar plot but I won't spoil it for you to watch with your kids. Also, the alien is so cute that I wish it could have a merchandise available.
I admire the clay-animation that the producers gave a lot of effort to. I really had no idea that this was close to a Mr. Bean show which has very minimal dialogues but the effects and visuals are fit for your kids to enjoy. The soundtrack also rocks and don't miss an mid-credits scene.

A Shawn the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon is showing on December 4, from Cartoon Network.

STAR TREK Into Darkness movie review

i haven't got the chance to see Star Trek 1 in the movie houses but Star Trek: Into Darkness didn't fail me to enjoy it. seeing it last Friday in a premiere screening was a good experience to know the friendship and adventures of Kirk (Chris Pine) and Spock (Zachary Quinto) from the TV series of my childhood.
Star Trek: Into Darkness mainly narrates a manhunt for a one-man terror machine that threatens the destruction of the world. and this mission of the Enterprise crew to capture this man and save the world. just another heroic deed with a lot of drama to the bromance of Spock and Kirk as the rest of the crew are making their move not to crash the spacecraft and smash the world.

it's a good hype for Trekkies to anticipate for this movie but it didn't surprise me at all nor even increased excitement towards the end. merely seeing an episode of Star Trek on TV with just a lengthened exposure with the casts. bringing in more functions about the crew with that little romance and emotions from Spock and Uhura (Zoe Saldana), and a sparking attraction with Carol (Alice Eve) and Kirk. 3D watching is not worth it.

you may catch it starting May 15 at theaters nationwide (Philippines).
