The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 movie review

I was in all attention for The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 movie which I saw last Friday. The new chapter in Katniss Everdeen's (Jennifer Lawrence) life and being recruited as the Mockingjay against the Capitol and President Snow got me at the edge of my seat anticipating scene after scene.
Just a summary of the memorable scenes in the movie:
  1. Plutarch's rea
  2. ction on Katniss negotiating with President Coin and almost not agreeing on the terms.
  3. Katniss' video produced by District 13 in recruiting the other districts to revolt against the Capitol. As they shot capturing Katniss' feelings against a burning district, they got the The video was done so awesome and of good quality despite the war setting.
  4. The Mockingjay Song. The lyrics and melody resounds to me until to this day whenever I see posts about the movie.
  5. President Snow discovering that the soldiers were at the Tribute Center. The evil smirk f*cks the whole plan up.
  6. Peeta choking Katniss. The eyes and thin figure scared the hell out of me. The make up and all is well-achieved.
I can't wait for the next movie!
The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 is still playing in theaters and distributed by Pioneer Films. Thank you to Photo Chat for inviting me.

Mel Brooks joins Hotel Transylvania 2

Filmmaker and comedienne Mel Brooks fits perfectly in the casting of Hotel Transylvania 2. Sony Pictures Animations has announced this wonderful comedic addition to the sea of monsters interacting with a human. Showing September 2015 in theaters worldwide, distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing International.
Mel Brooks takes on the character of Vlad, Dracula's (Adam Sandler) father. The grumpy old-old-old-old-fashioned vampire who gets into the hotel for an impromptu family reunion. The movie is now promising an insanely funny experience. "I’m having a wonderful time with the character Vlad. He’s been around for eons and he’s a pretty crabby guy. Basically, he reminds me of me," Brooks says. He celebrates 40 years after doing the horror-comedy classic "Young Frankenstein."
Mel Brooks is noted for his award-winning works like the satire "The Producers" and more. Sony Pictures Releasing International is securing the talents of additional high-profile stars around the world to voice the ancient one for the non-English versions of the film. So far, these regional Vlads include: France’s Michel Galabru, the esteemed 92-year-old actor who has appeared in more than 200 films; Japan’s Junji Inagawa, whose voice is instantly recognizable as the “go to” narrator of horror films, radio programs and DVDs; Holland’s Bram Van Der Vlugt, who, for decades, was the most requested Dutch TV/film “Sinterklaas” (Saint Nicholas); and Belgium’s Jacques Vermeire, the well-known Flemish performer with decades of memorable comic television and feature film performances.

Solaire Resort's The Theatre is now open!

I was privileged to experience the newest entertainment home for performing artists all over the world. Solaire Resort's The Theater which opened last night makes its mark in the entertainment industry and it is definitely an awesome feeling while inside it.
Last night's opening was a blast, combining all great theater and musical artists in one roof. The wonderful productions started by Audie Gemora opened our eyes for big things unfolding.
The Theater is equipped with state-of-the-art sound system called Constellation which is best recommended by sound and music master, Gerard Salonga to give the audience a whole new musical experience. Maestro Ryan Cayabyab also is fascinated with The Theatre's rehearsal studio where he can find focus for his masterpieces. For Ms. World Philippines 2014 Valerie Weigmann, artists would definitely appreciate the changing process with The Theatre's spacious dressers. For actress Mitch Valdez, the 1,760-seater facility gives all the best seats in place. For me, reclining in The Theatre's seats is also a huge factor for people to see great shows and relax on the comfortable foam.
The Theatre also proves its versatility as a venue with numerous type of performances that can be done in it. The musicales and concerts are the best to experience with the great acoustics and the Constellation system that goes with it. You can really tell the difference with only one click of the button from the control room. It was surreal.

The star-studded opening night featured OPM artists, theater personalities, and dancers collaborating for an amazing show. We've got the Philippine Opera Company, Prima Ballerina Lisa Macuja-Elizalde, Robert Sena, Isay Alvarez, Karylle, Aicelle Santos, the Ryan Cayabyab Singers, Manoeuvres, The Theatre Ensemble, Sam Concepcion, Regine Tolentino, Ednah Ledesma, Morrisette Amon, Christian Bautista, and Yeng Constantino. Solaire's LED background give more vibrance to the performances and everyone was in awe in the productions. It's very touching that our Filipino artists perform first in this amazing place.
Opera Ensembles
Original Pinoy Musicals Ensembles
Sam Concepcion
Morrisette Amon, Christian Bautista, Yeng Constantino
The highlights of night were Martin Nievera singing his marvelous hits quieting the whole venue. Even more when Lea Salonga served us with Broadway hits from Cats, Les Miserables and Wicked.

Know the dinosaurs in the JURASSIC WORLD movie

Learned that it's already 22 years after the original Jurassic Park movie and I'm seeing comments that Starlord (Chris Pratt) joins the care of dinosaurs in captivity in the latest movie by Steven Spielberg. Opening June 10, 2015, the Philippines would be getting entrance tickets earlier than the rest of the world.
Jurassic World opens the gates to the people for amusement and education until one dinosaur breaks loose. As we all know, the T-Rex is always and has been the most dangerous predator in the park living with the other dinosaurs. Know some of them here:
The Mosasaur. Looks like a crocodile and sizing bigger than this stadium
and treated like a show dolphin. Fed with a killer white shark for amusement.
Velociraptors. Looks like tiny T-Rexs and Star-Lord makes them sidekicks.
There'll be more in the list and if you want to see the Brontosaurus and Triceratops, they'll be probably be in here. So step in and take a walk in the park called Jurassic World.
It’s directed by Colin Trevorrow with original Jurassic Park director Steven Spielberg as Executive Producer. Jurassic World will be distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures. Here's the trailer:
