SUCKER PUNCH character posters released!

girls will kick some ass!

Warner Bros. has released the official character posters of its upcoming action-adventure Sucker Punch from director Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300).



The one-sheets feature individual cast members Emily Browning as Babydoll, Vanessa Hudgens as Blondie, Abbie Cornish as Sweet Pea, Jamie Chung as Amber, Jena Malone as Rocket and Carla Gugino as Madam Gorski.

Sucker Punch is an action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, but her incredible adventures blur the lines between what's real and what is imaginary... with potentially tragic consequences.


Opening across the Philippines in March 2011, Sucker Punch will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

3D short before CATS AND DOGS

whoa! now Warner Bros. are doing 3D shorts too!

Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote, two of the most popular Looney Tunes characters of all time, are returning to the big screen in three all-new animated 3D shorts. Warner Bros. Pictures will attach the cartoon shorts to three of its upcoming 3D family features, starting with Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore opening in the Philippines on August 18th.

This will be followed by Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, on September 24th; and the third with Yogi Bear, on January 2011. The announcement was made recently by Dan Fellman, Warner Bros. Pictures President of Domestic Distribution.

In the new cartoon shorts, each three minutes in length, Wile E. Coyote is as determined as ever to catch the elusive Road Runner, who continues to leave his hapless nemesis in the dust with a taunting "beep-beep." However, bringing the classic characters into the 21st century, the resourceful Wile E. will now be employing an arsenal of state-of-the-art ACME gadgets to snag his quarry—with all of the action in stereographic 3D.

In making the announcement, Fellman said, "Audiences have always delighted in Wile E. Coyote's dogged pursuit of the Road Runner, with hilarious, albeit predictable, results. We are thrilled to be presenting these characters for the first time in 3D, which will heighten the excitement and humor of the chase, not to mention the impact—at least for Wile E. We're sure these three new adventures will entertain a new generation of fans while reminding us all why these two characters have been beloved for so long."

To be released both in Digital 3D and regular format, Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

VAMPIRES and WOLVES worship JENN PROSKE

MOVE OVER KRISTEN STEWART! Becca is on her way to steal your men! LOL

There’s a new Bella in town - a.k.a. Becca in the upcoming spoof comedy “Vampires Suck” from geniuses Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer who gave us the laugh-out loud parodies “Scary Movie,” “Date Movie” and “Meet the Spartans.”

Becca, played by Jenn Proske stars in the all-tangled love triangle opposite Matt Lanter , Chris Riggi and Ken Jeong (“Hangover”). In a recent interview with buzzbox.com, Proske revealed that she’s Team Edward but she still has strong feelings for Jacob. “I kind of feel a little bit of pressure because I play Becca, the Bella character. Plus, Matt Lanter who plays Edward looks good on set! Matt was amazing. I had never been on camera before and was nervous that whoever I was working with would judge me. He was so willing to teach me tips and was so friendly. We hang out all the time but we’re just friends,” Proske gushes.

Jenn definitely nailed every bit of Bella’s character such that after one major audition, she immediately got called in for “Vampires Suck.” This is by far her first major audition after graduating from Boston University at 2009, though Jenn relates that she was I originally got called in for Alice Cullen, but knew that she wasn’t quite right for the role. “I knew I felt the Kristen Stewart role more so I had to go in 7 or 8 times,” recalls Jenn.

Asked what’s in store for the Twilight fans and Twi-haters in “Vampires Suck” – “There’s something for everyone in this movie! Everything is done in a very funny way and I think it’s hysterical!” Jen says.

“Vampires Suck” opens August 25 in theaters from 20th Century Fox to be distributed by Warner Bros.

JUSTIN LONG gets hooked with DREW BARRYMORE

Emerging as one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actors today, Justin Long (He’s Just Not That Into You) figures in a long-distance love affair with Drew Barrymore in New Line Cinema’s rowdy romantic comedy Going the Distance.

In the film, when Erin (Barrymore) and Garrett (Long) hook up, their intentions are to have a few fun and frisky weeks before she heads back to grad school in San Francisco and he stays in New York City. But when Erin’s about to board a plane for home, they both realize they have developed deeper feelings for one another, and they don’t want whatever it is they have together to end. So, they decide to give the “long distance thing” a go.

“I’d been reading a lot of romantic comedies,” Long recalls, “and this one really stood out for me in the sense that it was much more raw and realistic, and very funny, too. It didn’t hold back at all.”

Described by producer Adam Shankman as “a kind of ‘every man’ who guys can relate to and girls really like,” Long plays Garrett, an A&R scout who’s passionate about cool, indie music, but who’s being forced to handle much more commercial bands at the label where he works. He’s also something of a self-saboteur when it comes to serious relationships.

“Garrett’s kind of stuck in a rut, both professionally and personally,” Long asserts. “He’s a low-level executive trying to gain a foothold in an industry that, in his opinion, has kind of sold out. And he’s just been dumped by a girl he’s been seeing for a few months because, once again, he couldn’t go to the next level. Then he meets this girl, this crazy, pixie-ish, slightly badass girl who is cute and makes him laugh, and he’s very intrigued—and, spoiler alert: they get together.”

“To me, both Erin and Garrett are really honest, flawed characters,” Shankman observes. “Garrett behaves pretty badly at times, Erin behaves pretty badly at other times, and they both behave selfishly. But even though life is giving them an ‘out,’ they’re honestly trying to make a go of it before they decide if it’s too big of a commitment. And while humor infuses almost everything, the emotional scenes with Justin and Drew really anchor the film.”

Like many real couples facing time apart, the characters in Going the Distance try to maintain both the humor and the emotion that flows freely when they’re together.

Justin Long says that’s “part of the appeal for me, and I hope for audiences, is that the movie doesn’t hold back at all, just like relationships, just like life.”

hard to find addresses

i don't have a good sense of direction with unfamiliar places especially when it's my first time. thanks to the technology of SMS that i can get to the place i wanted to in the easiest way. when i am a bit lost, i look for the large street name and look for a nearby policeman that can help me with the directions.

for example is when i am trying to look for the office of a company for an interview. i was in this street where almost no public transportation available. taxi cabs are reliable at this time. when we get to the street, we look for the address plaques. it's easier to find numbers when you are a bit lost. the address plaque was so big so there is no way that doubt that is the right place.

another thing is when we are looking for a place to prepare for a party. sometimes all we have is a calling card to contact the person in charge of the place. great places are always in the hidden areas. and address signs help us a lot with directions. another benefit of having an address sign is that meetings are never delayed, and time is maximized when you get on time. sometimes i think of hanging one at home myself.

my first video editing project

though this is just a slide show, it really took me so long to finish it. figuring out simple techniques like fading in and out music, selecting the time for each slide to appear, selecting transitions and even adding titles. i used Windows Movie Maker which only had limited features for editing but that's all good to finish the project.

this project is for my niece's 7th birthday tomorrow. i'm glad that i've finished it. please tell me what you think about it. i'm open about suggestions. :)
