At SM City Marikina, the energy was maxed out from start to finish with the Pickleball Tour kick-off led by Mackonner Dy, followed by a fun and interactive pickleball clinic for kids in partnership with Hooked Pickleball Club, and a high-spirited Bubble Fun Run that brought families and runners together in a colorful burst of movement. Project Neon lights up Earth Hour across SM Malls in the East Metro

SM Malls in the East Metro, in partnership with SM Cares, turned Earth Hour last March 28 into a vibrant celebration of movement and sustainability through Project Neon. The initiative united communities through high-energy activities that prove going green can be fun, engaging, and all for you. Across each most-loved mall, hundreds of participants showed up in glowing neon to max out their support for the planet.

In a burst of color and energy, SM City San Mateo’s Neon Pedal gathered bikers for a neon-lit unity ride around the municipality, while SM City Marikina’s Neon Run saw runners take on a 3KM fun run along the mall’s driveway. In celebration of National Arts Month, SM City San Mateo opens its doors to Likhang Mateo: A Homegrown Visual Exhibit, an all-out visual arts showcase organized by the local tourism office of the Municipality of San Mateo. The exhibit is aligned with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts’ (National Commission for Culture and the Arts) 2026 theme, “Ani ng Sining: Katotohanan at Giting,” celebrating artistic truth, courage, and creative identity rooted in the community.
