The Sandbox Collective announced a strictly limited staged reading of Duncan Macmillan’s critically acclaimed play, PEOPLE, PLACES, AND THINGS, slated for August 2026. The reading will be helmed by the company's Artistic Director, Sab Jose.
The intimate stage reading will bring the raw, electric emotion of Macmillan’s brilliant dialogue to the absolute forefront, guided by Jose-Gregorio’s fresh directorial vision.
"Since our inception, advocacy theater has been at the heart of The Sandbox Collective’s identity. Following our production of Spring Awakening in February, Duncan Macmillan’s People, Places and Things continues our commitment to bringing difficult yet necessary conversations to the stage and beyond — expanding our reach, fostering understanding, and helping normalize discussions that matter most. " Sab said.
Details regarding venue, casting, and ticket availability will be announced in the coming weeks.
PEOPLE, PLACES, AND THINGS was first presented at The Dorfman Theatre, National Theatre London, in a co-production with Headlong on 1st September 2015.
