KUNG FU PANDA 2 movie review

in sequel to the action packed beginnings of the Kung Fu Panda, Po (Jack Black) fulfills another destiny as the Dragon Warrior fighting against the greed of an evil peacock, Lord Shen (Gary Oldman), who's up to use the power of the great invention of fireworks.

Lord Shen wants to rule over China with the amusement of fireworks. and he will use this to break those who wish to stop him. prophecies foretold that a creature in black and white will destroy him and will bring back peace in all of China.

as much as our hero is capable to defeat the forces that protect Lord Shen, Po struggles in the memory of his origins. from this segment, we are traced back on how he was left in the custody of Mr. Ping (James Hong). he wants answers to be given to him and that stops him from fighting the only source which is Lord Shen himself.

but Master Shifu's (Dustin Hoffman) teaching are just in time. focus and inner peace are the key to victory of the defenders of justice. this helped Po in accomplishing his destiny. with the help of the Furious 5 Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Monkey (Jackie Chan), Crane (David Cross) and Viper (Lucy Liu), they have saved the Masters of Kung Fu (Jean Claude Van Damme, Victor Garber) and all of China.

we will be amazed by new Kung Fu moves by Po and touched by his life story. the cutest panda you will ever see stuffing his mouth with more food and awesomeness. for a short running time of just 90 minutes, you will be completely satisfied on the pacing and story lines. you will be asking for PART 3!

Kung Fu Panda 2 will be shown in Philippine theaters and IMAX 3D starting May 26, 2011 by Dreamworks Pictures. distributed by United International Pictures.
