ZTE Devices Philippines Expands Retail Presence with New Kiosks and Premieres First Nubia Concept Store

Ribbon-cutting ceremony for the first-ever Nubia Concept Store held in 3/F Cyberzone of SM North Edsa Annex, Quezon City.

ZTE Devices Philippines marked a significant milestone last month, December 16, 2023, with the much-anticipated grand inauguration of its additional kiosks and the first-ever nubia Concept Store in 3/F Cyberzone of SM North Edsa, Quezon City.

The event was attended by esteemed personalities including Mr. Gavin Lian, General Manager of ZTE Philippines (Terminals), Mr. Paul Mike Olivar, Assistant General Manager for Sales Operations at Cellboy and Ms. Mary Rose Llevado from Cirebon Trading. Notably, the event also welcomed Mr. Giovanni Arandilla, Property Manager of SM North Edsa, and featured a special appearance by influencer and cosplayer Prince De Guzman, captivating attendees with a stunning portrayal of Buggy from One Piece.

The grand launch was buzzing with engaging activities and amazing prize giveaways, echoing the dynamic spirit of ZTE's innovative offerings. Guests were given an exclusive tour of the newly opened nubia Concept Store, a haven for tech enthusiasts exhibiting an array of cutting-edge devices. Improved chiller maintenance experience with LG’s Total Maintenance Service

In the realm of big commercial buildings, where maintaining optimal indoor climate and ensuring efficient cooling are paramount, the significance of centrifugal chillers cannot be overstated. These technological innovations possess the remarkable ability to provide reliable and energy-efficient cooling solutions on a grand scale. The building itself is a sprawling 1.75 hectares, with a gross floor area of 33.4 hectares. Tasked with cooling the whole area is 9 units of centrifugal water cooler chiller at 1,000 TR each from LG. SM chose LG because the South Korean brand was the only supplier who could pass the efficiency of .519 kilowatt per ton. The centrifugal chiller achieves high efficiency through a two-stage Compressor. With an optimized two-stage compression cycle, energy efficiency has been improved and operation costs have been reduced as opposed to the previous one-stage centrifugal chiller. It also has a variable diffuser that provides wider operation range at a low-load condition, and prevents stall from discharge gas for stable operation. Stable operation also helps keep costs at bay with an excellent partial load system that maximizes energy even when the loads are very light.

Another major factor that contributes to LG’s commercial cooling success is its TMS or Total Maintenance Service. LG Total Maintenance Service allows LG to monitor HVAC devices in real-time no matter where the devices are located. This solution utilizes LG’s cloud solution to access data on system operations and performance. By monitoring systems 24 hours a day, engineers can perform predictive maintenance, which makes maintenance and repairs more time-efficient and reduces overall system down time. Solutions to system failures can then be prepared in advance and rapidly implemented to mitigate the need for multiple on-site visits by engineers. In addition, systems can be monitored and controlled remotely to maximize efficiency and save energy. Facility managers and service partners are also privy to system operation and performance data through detailed reports covering multiple sites. Facility managers or end users also gain access to their system through their PC or mobile device.

RISEN movie review

The day of the Resurrection has been retold many many times unlike this new faith-flick Risen which features Joseph Fiennes and Tom Felton and directed by Kevin Reynolds. Though it is a film about Christ, this movie felt right for the evangelization according to another perspective, the experience of a non-believer, and how he first-handedly saw the truth in the faith.

For the first time, it has written like this. Kevin Reynolds did a great job in coming up with a story that will keep faith burning in the current time. It encompasses a new dimension in the Christian faith and finds me thinking more about what will I be missing in my own character. The movie is written in English so you won't have to struggle like how we did in Mel Gibson's Passion. And now this is not featuring a lot about saints but the regular person instead -- One who has to do his job flawlessly, much like how us people are right now.

Giving a suspense twist in the pursuit for the disciples, Risen is an exciting movie. And when Clavius (Fiennes) saw Yeshua (Cliff Curtis) himself, we are also moved. That is maybe what we are looking for right these days for us to truly believe. Looking for signs of his existence even when we don't acknowledge his miracles in everyday life. We maybe looking for blessings in material things so with Risen, we must be aware of more important and relevant things to be able to live.

There could only be one booboo that I recognized in the movie. When they reached Galilee, there is not one vessel that they were able to use to fish for food but all of a sudden, there's a boat by the shore. There also had been a small community but the night before, there are nothing. Just something that popped out of nowhere for them to use.

Risen opens on March 2, 2016, still during the Lenten season and will be exclusively shown in SM Cinemas.
