Watch an extended sneak peek of Stephen King's The Dark Tower

First comes smiles, then lies. Last is gunfire. From the epic best-selling Stephen King novels, comes Columbia Pictures' The Dark Tower, starring Idris Elba as the Gunslinger, Roland Deschain, and Matthew McConaughey as the Man in Black.

Check out an exclusive extended sneak peek of The Dark Tower below and watch the film in Philippine cinemas starting August 30, 2017.
In addition to soundbites from Elba and McConaughey, Stephen King himself weighs in on the adaptation and shares his thoughts on seeing Elba bring one of his most famous creations to life.

The Dark Tower is directed by Nikolaj Arcel (A Royal Affair), with a screenplay by Akiva Goldsman & Jeff Pinkner and Anders Thomas Jensen & Nikolaj Arcel, based on King’s novels.

Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, the ambitious and expansive story from one of the world’s most celebrated authors, makes its launch to the big screen. INTERSTELLAR movie review

From acclaimed director Christopher Nolan, we are about to have an intergalactic journey to search for something that will help us survive when the world is coming to an end. The quest for survival is in the hands of a group of NASA explorers lead by Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a devout father whose dream is to have a good life for his family.
INTERSTELLAR gives us appeals of what we are to protect during our existence. For Cooper, he is torn between his ambition and saving the whole human race. It also tells us in context about preservation of anything. Sometimes we really push ourselves to go away with our loved ones for a reason. And Nolan has reminded us that how hard it is to be away, we promise ourselves that we have to go back, or at least try. Interstellar was deeply emotional. It looked like Con-Air in a few scenes in the views of StarTrek.

It is really good. Is it worthy of an award? Maybe. Though sci-fi movies take filming to another level, Christopher Nolan managed to work in a 70mm film (IMAX format). No 3D formats available but its definitely worth the watch. The feels of getting outer space and the emotions of human relationships are absolutely felt. You will have a great three hours watching this film. I cannot take a lift from my seat to see what's next from scene to scene. Images are well crafted and the script is well-written. Not to mention that you have great casts like Award-winners, Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway.

Opening tomorrow in theaters nationwide, Interstellar is distributed by Warner Bros. Philippines. Starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, with supporting cast, Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain and more.

A grand and emotional journey in INTERSTELLAR

A group of explorers are set to find life to another journey in Warner Bros' Pictures futuristic thriller, Interstellar, directed by Christopher Nolan starring Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway.
McConaughey's character Cooper is a dreamer. Being a pilot is to wander to many places and the biggest opportunity is to jump to another galaxy for resources. His journey comes with the price of leaving his loved ones and a small opportunity to come back. This is where the human relationships come to place and that's what writer Emma Thomas wants audience to see in this film. She says, “For me, it’s really about the incredible human spirit of adventure and exploration. There are a lot of big questions asked by the movie, but, ultimately, what it comes down to is a story about family and human relationships. And I think that’s a pretty amazing thing.”
Christopher Nolan's sees Interstellar very personal and says “It’s about all kinds of things—how we define ourselves and who we are in the universe—but, for me, it’s about being a father.” “I think putting those ideas foremost in my process gives the story to the film, rather than just enjoying the space elements for space’s sake.”

Opening November 6 in cinemas and IMAX theaters nationwide, Interstellar is distributed by Warner Bros. Philippines.

What does the skies behold?

Have you ever wondered what if life on earth comes to an end? Christopher Nolan gives us a new perspective on how to survive, but I'm sure not everybody can afford it. With the movie like Interstellar from Warner Bros. Pictures, will this be another Gravity?
The movie features Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey, and other Oscar-worthy artists: Oscar winner Anne Hathaway (“Les Miserables”), Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain (“Zero Dark Thirty”), Bill Irwin (“Rachel Getting Married”), Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn (“Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore”), and Oscar winner Michael Caine (“The Cider House Rules”).  The main cast also includes Wes Bentley, Casey Affleck, David Gyasi, Mackenzie Foy and Topher Grace.
Watch Interstellar's trailer below:
Interstellar is set to open November 6 in the Philippines and November 7 in theaters worldwide. Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures (Philippines).
