South Korean actor Kim Seon Ho will be coming to Manila, Philippines as part of his 2024 Asia fan meeting tour. The prominent actor is set to meet his Filipino fans on April 13, 2024 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.

Kim Seon Ho began his career on stage and appeared in numerous plays such as “Sherlock Holmes,” “New Boeing Boeing,” “True West,” “Closer,” and “Voice of Millenium” before making his debut in the 2017 drama “Good Manager.” He started acting as a way to overcome his childhood trauma and enrolled in an acting academy during high school. Serious about his craft, he later pursued a degree in Broadcasting and Entertainment at the Seoul Institute of the Arts.

The actor later rose to prominence with his role in the 2020 hit television series “Start-Up.” His popularity only grew even more when he took on the lead role in the 2021 drama “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha”, and in the noir film “The Childe.” He won awards such as Gallup Korea’s Actor Of The Year in 2021, and the New Actor Award at the 59th Grand Bell Awards and Buil Film Awards.

Apart from starring in other dramas like “100 Days My Prince,” “Welcome to Waikiki 2,” and “Run On,” he also sold out shows for stage plays like “Ice,” and “Touching The Void.” However, his breakthrough performance that earned the hearts of many people is his appearance as part of the cast in the KBS2 reality show “2 Days & 1 Night.” This led him to be chosen as the face of many brands in South Korea and Southeast Asia. Many brands achieved record sales thanks to the actor and labeled this success as “The Kim Seon Ho Effect.”

Watch the Dimple Challenge of Shin Min-a and Kim Seon-ho

Hometown Cha-cha-cha's finale comes next week and we can't get enough of Shin Min-a and Kim Seon-ho's sweetness in the popular Korean romcom.
The on-screen couple went to read fans' messages and for a challenge, they will try NOT to give a smile and show their dimples. Seon-ho and Min-a put a game face at first and once one fails, a point will be deducted from their scores. Watch the kilig video below and find out who gets punished at the end of the game.

Official poster and trailer of Hometown Cha-cha-cha revealed

Netflix reveals the official poster and extended trailer of the new Korean rom-com Hometown Cha-cha-cha starring Kim Seon-Ho and Shin Min-ah. The series will start streaming on Netflix on August 28.

A warm but clumsy dentist and a jobless lad but master of all trades bloom their romance in their hometown while dealing with their complicated lives. Watch the trailer below:

Shin Min-ah and Kim Seon-oh star in a Netflix rom-com Hometown Cha-cha-cha

Announcement to Kshow fanatics, Shin Min-ah and Kim Seon-oh's rom-com entitled Hometown Cha-cha-cha will start streaming August 28 on Netflix.


The star of Oh My Venus, Kim Min-ah, plays Yoon Hye-jin who opens up a dental clinic in the seaside village of Gongjin. She’s got beauty and brains, but also a clumsy side to her. While being strict and a perfectionist, she’s got a warm heart deep inside.

On the other hand, Start-Up mentor and Welcome to Waikiki 2's Kim Seon-oh takes the role of Hong Du-sik who is technically unemployed but takes on odd jobs and helps everyone in the village. From delivering food to working at a convenience store, he’s a master of all trades. Smart and caring, he’s the hero of the village you can count on whenever you need assistance.

Follow their story transpires at the seaside with their funny complicated lives. Watch the teaser trailer below. Hometown Cha-cha-cha is helmed by director Yu Je-won who previously worked on Oh My Ghost and Tomorrow With You, and writer Shin Ha-eun who wrote The Crowned Clown.
