DIARY OF A WIMPY KID: RODRICK RULES movie review

Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) is back with more antics in 20th Century Fox's sequel, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules! and now he has to overcome his new nemesis, his brother Rodrick (Devon Bostick). the evil older brother is on power to bully Greg. and he can do everything to put Greg into shame.

but after a major incident, their parents had left them and arrange things between them. there have been a huge "brothers deal" between the two and they had fun and got along well. after all the fun, all they have to do is to lie that "nothing happened." unfortunately, there is one bad fruit that came out. and this dissed out Rodrick and almost didn't speak to Greg again. but Greg couldn't help himself since he misses how fun they had with each other. so he made something extraordinary that for sure he will make Rodrick happy. good that things go well.

here we can clearly define the value of family put into the story. not just as how kids deal with middle school in the United States but the importance of someone who is there to back you up.

again, the pack of kids are still present. Rowley, Fregley, Patty and Chirag who will give you the colorful fun at middle school. all Greg's funny antics with Rowley will raise you from your seats laughing, grossed out or even blush on love. Greg will have a new love interest here. :)

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules opens April 15 2011 in the Philippines. distributed by 20th Century Fox.

DIARY OF A WIMPY KID movie review

Greg Heffley thinks he is stuck with a bunch of morons in middle school. adding up his misfortunes with his brothers and adventures with his best friend, Rod. Greg tries to be cool making his ways to get famous and be included in the yearbook, but his best friend Rod sends him to very embarrassing situations making him uncool.

Rod may have brought him to shame and almost an outcast, Greg made himself humble and eat all negativity he said about Rod. he didn't even pushed himself to be included in the yearbook but thru Ron, he realized what he can be proud of not being somebody that he is not.

everybody might relate to this story as what they've experienced during middle school. cooties, bullies and other social nightmares one might encounter. but despite all of that, most of us can say, wow, i survived middle school and will be able to laugh out of it. we try to excel in one thing that we should be thankful that middle school became part of our life. it was a little taste of reality and that we should be able to stand on our own.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid opens in cinemas on April 3 from 20th Century Fox, distributed by Warner Bros. Philippines.
