LG 2025 OLED TVs Achieve “True Visual Experience with Indoor Lighting” Certification

LG’s 2025 OLED TVs Become the First to Be Certified by TÜV Rheinland forMaintaining Perfect Black and Clarity Under Indoor Lighting
LG Electronics (LG) has announced that its latest OLED TVs* have earned the “True Visual Experience with Indoor Lighting” certification from TÜV Rheinland, a renowned German testing and certification organization. LG 2025 OLED TVs are the first to achieve this certification, showcasing their exceptional picture quality in indoor lighting environments.

TÜV Rheinland’s rigorous certification process granted LG’s latest OLED TVs a “Perfect” grade across five critical evaluation areas: blackness, vividness, perceptual contrast length, gradation and ambient contrast modulation. Tested under 500 lux lighting, equivalent to a daytime living room, the results demonstrate LG OLED TVs’ ability to maintain high visual fidelity with precise tonal accuracy and depth in various lighting conditions.

In addition to the TÜV Rheinland certification, LG OLED displays have been verified by UL Solutions for “Perfect Black” and “Perfect Color,” and confirmed by Intertek for 100 percent color fidelity and 100 percent color volume. These achievements underscore LG OLED TV’s ability to render absolute blacks and accurate colors, further solidifying their reputation for excellence in visual technology.
According to market research firm Omdia, LG has reaffirmed its leadership in the global OLED TV market. In the first quarter of 2025, LG held a dominant market share of approximately 52 percent based on shipments. Furthermore, LG became the first brand to surpass 10 million OLED TV sales in Europe as of April 2025.

“This certification highlights the distinctive capabilities of LG OLED TVs, setting them apart in the global OLED TV market,” said Jung Jae-chul, head of MS R&D Lab at the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “We are dedicated to advancing OLED technology to create unparalleled viewing experiences through our premium TVs in any lighting environment.”

LG Philippines brought together art, technology, and heritage at the National Museum of Natural History through a special partnership that exemplifies the beauty and diversity of Philippine geography and identity. Running for an entire month, the exhibit invites visitors to the Ayala Reception Hall on the second floor of the National Museum of Natural History to explore the nation's rich biological history through three captivating digital pieces: “Where Fire Begins,” “Stories in Stone,” and “What Breaks, Flows”, all brought to life by LG OLED AI TVs. These works seamlessly blend art, science, and emotion to reflect the Philippines' geological and cultural evolution. As Cacnio explains, “Even in fracture, there is flow. Even in separation, there is connection.” His work reminds us that, just as nature molds the Earth, shared history and resilience continue to shape our identity as a people.

Life’s Good for Moms: Meaningful Moments, Made Easy

From memories to me-time, celebrate Mother’s Day the way she wants to
Whether you’re a mom, lola, tita, or a single mom doing it all, you deserve to celebrate and be celebrated this Mother’s Day. This special day always falls on the second Sunday of May, so establishments are guaranteed to be booked and busy. If you’re one of the many moms who just want to rest on this special weekend and avoid crowds, why not spend it at home?

Moments That Matter: Reliving the Past and Creating New Memories
If you’re looking to feel nostalgic, watching old baby videos and cherished family moments on a bigger screen, such as LG’s UHD TV, brings back the feels and memories to life. But beyond reminiscing, it's about living in the moment—whether it’s watching with loved ones or letting little ones peacefully drift to sleep with their favorite lullabies through speakers such as the LG xboom Go. Every moment, from memory to melody, becomes a treasured experience.
Embrace Your Playful Side: Celebrate with Fun and Freedom
Mom, staying in doesn’t have to mean lying in bed all day. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, you can also choose to direct your energy towards activities such as belting out your favorite karaoke hits with the LG xboom RNC5, or upping your excitement through your favorite films on the LG QNED TV. Letting loose with every note and every scene can bring back joy and excitement, turning me-time into something truly special. Singing or streaming, it’s just one other way to unwind and enjoy your special day.
Relax and Recharge: A Well-Deserved Retreat for Mom
Being a mom isn’t always going to be stress-free. Many moms go through countless sleepless nights! With the LG Non-Inverter Aircon providing a cool, soothing breeze and the LG PuriCare Air Purifier ensuring clean, fresh air, the space transforms into a haven of comfort to help you truly relax and recharge each night. Whether lounging in bed, catching up on rest, or simply enjoying a peaceful pause, having the right air conditioner and quality can help you unwind in the evening and feel restored by the morning.
Turning Everyday Moments into Meaningful Family Bonds
One of the best ways to celebrate Mother’s Day is for mom to not have to do chores. Turn an ordinary cleaning day into a lighthearted, shared experience with teaching your kids to help out and use the LG Top Load Washer and LG Canister Vacuum. With everyone pitching in and moments turning into memories, it’s not just about tidying up—it’s learning to celebrate mom for all the things she does that we sometimes forget to thank her for.
Life’s Good when you celebrate in a way that feels true—whether it’s sharing laughs with family, enjoying quiet moments, or simply doing what brings joy. The best celebration isn’t about grand gestures, but about feeling supported and happy right where you are. With LG, every moment becomes part of a meaningful Mother’s Day, because Life’s Good when comfort, love, and ease fill the space, turning the everyday into something special.
