Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) adds to the tradition of sparkling lights and spreading cheers to the Filipino community with their own Christmas display at the Meralco Compound in Pasig City.
with the theme,
Maliwanag ang Pasko, the Christmas display is finally opened to the public with the traditional Filipino Christmas symbols like the
Belen, as glittering lights adorn the whole compound for everyone to see.
the lighting ceremony was lead by Meralco Chairman
Manny V. Pangilinan together with Meralco executives and with sports teams, Ms. Shamcey Supsup also graced the event with cheer.
as the lights open, everyone had fun taking their pictures, making the Meralco compound a theme park for the whole family. thus, the
Department of Tourism acknowledges the Meralco Christmas display as one of the must-see destinations in the Philippines during Christmas season.
