NEW YEAR'S EVE movie review

what else is more touching than Valentine's Day than a movie that makes you reflect on the past year? not to mention the all star cast of NEW YEAR'S EVE. bringing back some of the cast like Jessica Biel and Ashton Kutcher, they are joined with Michelle Pfeiffer, Zac Efron, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lea Michele, Katherine Heigl, Halle Berry, Jon Bon Jovi, Josh Duhamel among others.
the film is about the preparations for New Year and what's going on in the lives of our characters. usually, the story goes around love which is the common denominator for all. love at all aspects, teenage love, parental love, forgotten love, love at unexpected places, etc.

story is centralized in Times Square in New York before the clock strikes at midnight. but according to Murphy's Law, the iconic Times Square Ball malfunctioned halfway. and in this incident, it was best for Hillary Swank's character to say that as every year comes to an end, we should stop and reflect to what we have done or experienced in the past year. and learn to embrace them and make it right in the future. indeed, New Year is a very important event in our lives to spend with those we love.
in this movie, you will want to meet the types of people portrayed. like Zac Efron who will make you believe things can happen, Jessica Biel who will be very generous. Halle Berry that can show her concern for you even if you're not related and all the rest who can give you a second chance.
like Valentine's Day, there are a lot of stories that you will have unexpected twists at the end. but New Year's Eve didn't have a lot of surprises. but it is still heartwarming. as for me, the coming year will be something to look forward to.

NEW YEAR'S EVE opens December 8, 2011 in Philippine theaters. brought to us by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
