Anya Taylor-Joy stars in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, set on 2024

This is her Odyssey. “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” starring Anya Taylor-Joy in the title role, opens only in cinemas May 22, 2024.
The much-anticipated return to award-winning director George Miller’s iconic dystopian world also stars Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne and Tom Burke. Watch the trailer below:

As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.

This all-new original, standalone action adventure was directed by George Miller, script by Miller and “Mad Max: Fury Road” co-writer Nico Lathouris. The film was produced by Miller and his longtime partner, Oscar-nominated producer Doug Mitchell (“Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Babe”), under their Australian-based Kennedy Miller Mitchell banner.

Starring Anya Taylor-Joy in the title role, Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne and Tom Burke.

In cinemas 2024, “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” is distributed in the Philippines by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Discovery company.

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD movie review

Warner Bros. Pictures' MAD MAX: FURY ROAD is an intense action movie that made me think about the times when water supply has become very limited. Opening tomorrow, May 14 in theaters nationwide, I was in mixed emotions while watching the movie.
Set in the driest regions of the planet in its apocalyptic stage, I was already cringing of what I saw. Almost indescribable and almost lost for words, it was really mad and crazy. I am selective with action movies but MAD MAX gets me more than any other gore films I watched. In fact, I love how it's made. Visual effects are stunning and costumes and make up and prosthetics are amazing.
You also have to watch out for the vehicles and the minions of Immortan Joe and how they play along in the movie. They may be the fun part of this film. MAD MAX Fury Road is one of my new favorite action packed and it will never disappoint.
MAD MAX: FURY ROAD is directed by George Miller and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures (Philippines).

MAD MAX: Fury Road action-packed trailer

Watch the highly-anticipated trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road, the fourth in the film franchise.
Haunted by his turbulent past, Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron).

They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.

“Mad Max: Fury Road”—the fourth in the franchise’s history—stars Tom Hardy (“The Dark Knight Rises”) in the title role, alongside Oscar winner Charlize Theron (“Monster,” “Prometheus”) as the Imperator, Furiosa. The film also stars Nicholas Hoult (“X-Men: Days of Future Past”) as Nux; Hugh Keays-Byrne (“Mad Max”, “Sleeping Beauty”) as Immortan Joe; and Nathan Jones (“Conan the Barbarian”) as Rictus Erectus. Collectively known as The Wives, ZoĆ« Kravitz (“Divergent”) plays Toast, Riley Keough (“Magic Mike”) is Capable, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (“Transformers: Dark of the Moon”) is Splendid.
They are joined by supermodel Abbey Lee as The Dag and Courtney Eaton as Fragile, both of whom are making their big screen debuts. Also featured in the movie are Josh Helman as Slit, Jennifer Hagan as Miss Giddy, and singer/songwriter/performer iOTA as Coma-Doof Warrior. The cast is rounded out by well-known Australian actors John Howard and Richard Carter, supermodel Megan Gale, Angus Sampson, Joy Smithers, Gillian Jones, Melissa Jaffer and Melita Jurisic.

Opening across the Philippines in 2D and 3D theaters on May 2015, “Mad Max: Fury Road” is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
