“Paddington in Peru” wins the heart of moviegoers with a 93% Rotten Tomatoes score

As with the first two highly acclaimed Paddington films, Paddington in Peru has been garnering praises from audiences and film critics for its unique story, animation, and humor. Paddington in Peru sees the iconic bear in a brand new adventure as he tries to get back to his roots and solve a mystery involving his family in hist birthplace of Peru.
Variety talks about how Paddington in Peru will appeal to moviegoing kids, writing, “Paddington in Peru is, as any Paddington adventure should be, fast and buoyant and disarmingly sunny in a way that viewers who weren’t alive — or at least of cinemagoing age — for the 2017 release of Paddington 2 will lap up.”

Paddington’s thoughtful and beautiful animation was noted by The Hollywood Reporter, which writes, “Although returning players Hugh Bonneville, Madeleine Harris and Samuel Joslin as the other three Brown family members make significant contributions along with Mortimer, no one can hold the screen with a hard stare like Paddington. He pulls off one his best here, a perfectly calibrated study in facial movement, lighting (particularly in the brown-gold glitter of his eyes) and comic timing.”

The BBC praises how Paddington in Peru maintains the heart of the story from previous films, even in the brand new setting. “Dotted with waterfalls and piranhas, double crosses and Inca riddles, the Browns' jungle quest is the subject of a wholesome, well-constructed, richly coloured adventure yarn with just enough of the eccentric charm, animated interludes and musical numbers that make the Paddington series what it is.”
Slant mirrors these sentiments, while also acknowledging the film’s message about familial roots and finding what home truly means. “While it’s never didactic or heavy-handed about its messaging, Paddington in Peru also offers an idea of Britishness that’s multifaceted and modern, as the titular bear celebrates his official status as a citizen of the U.K. while reconnecting with his Peruvian roots.

Set off with friends, family, and the wonderful Paddington, as Paddington in Peru arrives in Philippine theaters on January 29. Watch the trailer here:

PUSS IN BOOTS: The Last Wish Movie Review

Puss in Boots The Last Wish is Dreamworks Animations' pre-holiday gift for children of all ages and brings back Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek as the voices of Puss and Kitty Softpaws, respectively. The movie is set to open in PH theaters this Wednesday, December 7th.
Still hungry for adventure, Puss in Boots had just realized that he is left with his one last life after killing a giant and being dropped by a bell. Thinking about his retirement, he is now hunted by The Big Bad Wolf or Death as he calls it.

In his last quest, he goes to find the Wishing Star to restore his nine lives. There he reunites with an abandoned love Kitty Softpaws and meets a new sidekick Perro. The three of them endure an adventure against Goldilocks and the Three Bears and Big Jack Horner before they get to the Wishing Star.
The newest story from the makers of Shrek still gets the humor for everyone who started the franchise. You'll miss the whole team, of course, but we all deserve Puss and his adventure in his 9 lives. We are still looking forward for more fairy tales to include in the series.

Digging deeper into the essence of the story, Perro steals the scene. A happy-go-lucky dog might be just one that we need. He also makes us realize that we might already have what we're wishing for and that it's already a good thing. Selfishness has no room for him that's why he could be the best buddy for everyone. He is just so happy with what he already has and even more grateful in the presence of Puss and Kitty.

Puss in Boots The Last Wish is a very enjoyable movie for everyone. An epic adventure that will even warm your heart.

PUSS IN BOOTS movie review

before Shrek, there is a one fierce feline with humble beginnings that lives as an outlaw like Robin Hood. his name is Puss and this new movie from Dreamworks Pictures dedicated to Puss in Boots opens in theaters, October 28 in the Philippines. we are taken into a whole new fairy tale history with high-adventure scenes worthy of nine lives.
in this movie, Puss traces his roots on how became an outlaw. making friends with an egg on crack, Humpty Dumpty, may not be the best decision he made in his life. although they were just of the best and only friends on the planet, greed dominated Humpty and made him deceive Puss to steal from the people. and after a long time after his release from jail, his next adventure awaits.

here you will find Puss' alternate, Kitty Southpaw who will be his partner to fulfill their mission. together with Humpty, they will discover a legend of the magic beans guarded by kids then, Jack and Jill who are now notorious bastards after Jack broke his crown. but that's just my theory. magic beans is believed to transport anyone to the giant's castle in the skies.
characters are exceptionally cute. especially when Puss was still a kitten. and showing very-kitty actions. watching it in 3D gets even more exciting because of nice graphics. humor never fades out from the characters especially when you have Antonio Banderas playing Puss in Boots.

see Puss in Boots in theaters starting October 28.
