THE WITCHER prequel gets release date

Geralt's story expands to the history of being The Witcher with an anime series that will be streaming at Netflix starting August 23.


The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf tells the story of Vesemir, Geralt's mentor, a swashbuckling young witcher who escaped a life of poverty to slay monsters for coin. But when a strange new monster begins terrorizing a politically-fraught kingdom, Vesemir finds himself on a frightening adventure that forces him to confront the demons of his past.




The English voice cast includes Theo James as Vesemir, Lara Pulver as Tetra, Graham McTavish as Deglan, and Mary McDonnell as Lady Zerbst. While the Japanese voice cast are Yuuya Uchida as Vesemir, Mie Sonozaki as Tetra, Masafumi Kimura as Deglan, and Yukari Nozawa as Lady Zerbst.

The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is written and produced by Beau DeMayo and co-produced by ‘The Witcher’ Showrunner and Executive Producer Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and Studio Mir’s Kwang Il Han who is also directing. Watch the trailer here:

Rurouni Kenshin cast comes to the Philippines

the actors of the Japanese movie, Rurouni Kenshin, were kind to appear for their Filipino audiences at the Asia Premiere of the manga-inspired film. their first stop is at the SM Megamall where the venue is jam-packed with fans of the movie and the anime as well.

the cast, composed of Takeru Satô (Kenshin Himura), Emi Takei (Kaoru Kamiya) and Munetaka Aoki (Sanosuke Sagara) were joined by the director Keishi Ohtomo who left the fans cheering and excited for the much-awaited sequel.

"It was my first time here and I'm so glad for the warm welcome of the Filipinos." said Takeru Sato who is also thankful of the support of the Filipinos to him and the movies. "I would love to go back," he said. meanwhile, Munetaka Aoki, has drawn the crowd with his attempts to speak Filipino with the same message.
