the world famous Cebu Dancing Inmates has faced another dancing challenge, but now it's not just for entertainment. they promote proper electoral process dancing to the tune of Sexbomb Girls' May Bilog na Hugis Itlog - an instructional music video educating the Filipino people on how to adopt the automated elections on May 2010. the video suggests to mark properly the ballot to vote for the candidate they eye for, and it is a very significant advocacy for the Filipinos, especially with the Sexbomb Girls and the Cebu Dancing inmates.

The new Shoppesville opens
The newly refurbished Shoppesville at Greenhills Shopping Center starts the year by offering customers excellent affordable shopping experience with the three C’s of a perfect shopping destination — cleanliness, comfort and convenience. It now boasts of higher ceilings, new lighting made more conducive to shopping, wider corridors (shown above) and escalators, bright and modern flooring, and rest rooms with pay lounges, giving this shopping haven a more elegant look that is at par with high-end malls.
According to Lanie Bukuhan, Greenhills Shopping Center Leasing Manager, “The new look and better amenities at Shoppesville are meant to make the mall more conducive and comfortable to our shoppers. A better Shoppesville is our way of thanking people for their patronage throughout the years.”
Despite the improvements in the mall’s interiors and facilities, Shoppesville has maintained favorite boutiques that have made the mall a household name. It also has new stores that are geared to further delight smart shoppers.

Last Valentine's NAPO Nila
a sad but fulfilled ending to the careers of our favorite OPM trio, Jim, Boboy and Danny, otherwise known as the APO Hiking Society, is set to stage at the SMX Convention Center with Last Valentines NAPO Nila concert on February 13 2010. the three have decided to give the last curtain call and part ways.
the trio have given us legendary OPM songs such as Batang Bata Ka Pa, Kabilugan ng Buwan, Di Na Natuto, Awit ng Barkada and Pumapatak Na Naman Ang Ulan, making a mark on the local music scene as our parents and/or grandparents grew up on. for APO-virgins, people who haven't watched an APO concert, this is one event you surely don't want to miss.

K Brosas also stands with the trio giving a light mood in this event. a big privilege for her to sing and dance with APO who has also influenced her in music. it's like dancing with her father kind of way.
this valentine concert will be the first in the series of concerts before the last curtain call which is on planning stage. sad but true, the three have prepared themselves to end doing music together last year. a lot of things will be missed but they never had regrets giving good contribution and influence to the Filipino people.
Tickets are available at all Ticketnet office. Call 911-5555 or 20plus, Inc. hotline at 753-1609 loc. 116 or at Star Express PLDT hotline at 334-9272 add 02 for Globe and SMART subscribers. Catch them while you still can!

movies to expect in 2010
movie goers will be overwhelmed and excited for this year. though a lot of remakes and sequels will be in store for us, there are also new ones that are definitely eye-candies.
January opens with great movies for the whole family. Zombieland, not very much in time for the season but it was a sure-fun movie to enjoy. you'll have reasons to watch it aside from the gore content of munching zombies transforming everyone to corpses or body parts. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel - yes, a sequel but they prefer it to call it that way making the trend from 2008's cute movie. now they now have career rivals that will eventually be their love interests, the Chipettes. Sherlock Holmes - Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law stars in this adaptation of the famous detective. an action-packed and amazing stint of Sherlock Holmes will make you analyze and even solve cases during the movie. it will enhance your meticulous thinking skills. all three movies will be shown here in the Philippines on January 8 (Friday).
couples and romantic enthusiasts will enjoy good movies this year initially with Valentine's Day -- a movie with lots of money! an all star cast including Julia Roberts, Jamie Foxx, Ashton Kutcher, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Taylor Lautner, Taylor Swift, Patrick Dempsey among others. you better make that date! the 2nd installment of Sex and the City will Carrie you on around the world. the girls are back with their fabulosity and girly antics when it comes to relationships.
book adaptations also get going this year. with the first installment of Harry Potter's last book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will bring again wizards into theaters this November. Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief also washes book aficionados into theaters the Greek Mythology. Alice in Wonderland, Louis Carroll's book will also be in theaters featuring Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway from the direction of Tim Burton. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, a yummy and food-filled movie will leave audiences looking up in the sky after watching it also opens this 2010. Clash of the Titans will also give you a glimpse of Greek mythology. a remake though but enhanced featuring Liam Neeson as Zeus and Hades and Sam Worthington. that's a lot for the kids. :)
that's my first installment of the movies to watch out for this 2010.
