POTEN-CEE’S 50TH-anniversary Campaign Bags Silver at the 60th Anvil

As Pascual Laboratories, Inc.’s (PascualLab) flagship brand, Poten-Cee, celebrates over five (5) decades of serving the vitamin C needs of Filipinos, it continues to carve milestones in the health industry. At the 60th Anvil Awards at the Manila Hotel, PascualLab received a Silver Anvil from the prestigious PR Society of the Philippines (PRSP) for Poten-Cee's 50th-anniversary campaign, #FiftyFortifiedandForgingForward.
#FiftyFortifiedandForgingForward celebrates 50 years of Poten-Cee which began as pedia brand Infan-Cee. Originally launched to offer vitamin C supplementation, the brand has since evolved to meet the health requirements of various individuals and has adapted to the Filipinos' diverse health and lifestyle needs, including immunity support as brought to the fore by the recent pandemic. The campaign for internal and external audiences highlighted these innovations across various media platforms, including digital and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
For successfully capturing the milestones and meaningfully engaging stakeholders who helped shape Poten-Cee into the well-loved brand that it is today, the campaign met the award-giving body’s strict criteria.  It was then shortlisted among a record-breaking 586 entries, with only 122 or 20% making the cut, earning PascualLab its first Anvil.

PascualLab Takes Sponsored Youth from World Vision on a Learning Journey

Pascual Laboratories, Inc. (PascualLab) and international charitable institutionWorld Vision’s partnership took an exciting turn on June 4 as one of the top pharmaceutical companies in the Philippines’ welcomed sponsored youth to an exclusive tour around the company’s manufacturing plant. PascualLab volunteers and sponsors took the students ranging from elementary to high school through an immersive trip at PascualLab’s Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Production areas as well as a trip down memory lane to PascualLab’s rich history of innovation.
In his welcome speech SVP and Chief Manufacturing Officer Higinio “Jun” Porte inspired the students to pursue their dreams whether small or big, be it in the health industry or outside of it.

World Vision Interim National Director Jun Godornes through Public Affairs Manager David Rioferio shared: “Our long years of partnership with PascualLab has significantly helped improve the well-being of the most vulnerable children through programs in health and nutrition, education, including values formation and spiritual nurture, child protection and participation, savings and livelihood, disaster preparedness, and emergency response."

Pascual Laboratories shares the #PascualLove with the children of World Vision

Three years since their partnership with WorldVision started, PascualLab sponsors led by Vice President for Corporate HROD and Design Services & Corporate Affairs Mia Pascual Cenzon, finally met their sponsored children face to face, at a bonding activity during PascualLab's anniversary month at the WorldVision grounds in Quezon City.

To spread the #PascualLove as part of its CSR program Sowing to Empower, Educate, and Develop (SEED), Pascual Laboratories, Inc. (PascualLab) sponsor-employees spent a weekend of bonding over an art activity, talent showcase, group games, and basic health checks with children from World-Vision assisted communities in Malabon last May 6, 2023 at the World Vision grounds in Quezon City.

PascualLab, a partner of international charitable institution World Vision since 2020, has been sponsoring children in less-fortunate communities in Malabon via the CHOSEN program. Through the program, these children were given the chance to pick their sponsors, essentially choosing people who can help them realize their wishes for education towards better lives amidst challenges including the current health crisis.
Three years into the pandemic and during PascualLab’s anniversary month, the sponsors were finally able to be with the children who have CHOSEN them. Malabon plays a significant place in PascualLab’s history as the Pascual family traces its roots to this Northern part of Manila.

C-Lium Fibre Pushes for #HealthGoals Via Habit Formation

Piolo Pascual Visits the Home of Poten-Cee

Poten-Cee + Zinc Advance (Vitamin C + Zinc + Cholecalciferol) Brand Ambassador Piolo Pascual recently made a surprise visit to the Bulacan manufacturing plant of Pascual Laboratories, Inc. (PascualLab), home of the top-of-mind Vitamin C brand.¹ In true #PascualLove fashion, PascualLab executives and employees headed by Mia Pascual Cenzon, VP for Corporate HROD and Design Services & Corporate Communications, gave a warm welcome to Pascual who later took to the stage for a photo opportunity with lucky employees; toured the ISO:2015, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Halal-certified facilities where some of the well-loved brand’s variants are manufactured; and joined a small gathering with PascualLab executive officers. It was a coming home of sorts for the Ultimate Heartthrob as he was also given a glimpse of Pascual history at the family’s weekend home turned museum. Pascual is currently the brand endorser for Poten-Cee  + Zinc Advance which has Vitamin C² that helps enhance the body’s natural defenses, Vitamin D3 that helps activate the body’s immune system,³ and Zinc that helps prevent viral entry (with proper diet and exercise).⁴

WorldVision and PascualLab join hands in empowering children

Six months after international non-profit organization World Vision joined hands with
Pascual Laboratories, Inc. (PascualLalb), the organization has been able to help 77 more children to enable themselves to choose their future via the program Chosen™

Chosen™ the campaign which was launched last year in various World Vision offices, has been changing lives around the world by empowering children to contribute to the course of their future by giving them the power to choose their sponsors.


 PascualLab, one of the top-of-mind pharma companies for health and wellness products and manufacturing services, known for its unwavering passion for health and life, shares in World Vision’s belief that every child deserves access to healthcare, nutrition, and quality education.

We were created by God for a mission,” Wife Almerlyn who also works for PascualLab affirms that one of these missions is charity work: “It is a great feeling to be able to help others”. Corporate social responsibility has always been a part of PascualLab’s values and the partnership with World Vision allows employees to live out this value.

“It is an honor for me to be a part of a company that is able to hold on to its commitment for social responsibility despite the pandemic,” testifies Juan dela Cruz (not his real name), one of the employees of PascualLab’s subsidiary Leonie Agri Corp.

Although the pandemic has affected Chosen’s™ launch in early 2020, World Vision was still able to help 255 children find sponsors. The Chosen™ Campaign created a venue for PascualLab staff to help change the lives of children, even at the height of the spread and challenges of COVID-19.

“When the pandemic broke out, it unveiled the great divide between rich and poor in our country. Many have struggled and many are still struggling. Being able to assist someone in our own little way could impact their lives more than we could ever know,” Brithanie Urquico from PascualLab’s corporate office agrees. “I am content and happy to be able to make a difference, especially now that even the smallest of efforts truly counts,” she adds.

The partnership is also part of PascualLab’s 75th-anniversary celebration, wherein the Pascual family and employees were inspired to share some #PascualLove by giving back and doing something meaningful for their hometown, Malabon. Through the partnership with World Vision, PascualLab’s employees experienced being chosen by children from the child-focused, assisted community in Malabon.

The partnership was sealed in a Memorandum of Agreement signed last April, where 125 PascualLab employees committed to sponsoring children. This new and effective way in child sponsorship through Chosen™ is not only transforming the lives of the sponsored children but also of the sponsors.
