TAKEN 2 movie review

after his daughter was being abducted in Taken, Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) gets into another kidnap case. this time, of himself and his wife. Taken 2 set in Albania gets into more of Bryan Mills' CIA skills and now he's off to set themselves free with the help of his daughter, Kim (Maggie Grace).
in the beautiful Albania, their leader Murad (Rade Serbedzija) seeks revenge for the killing of their brethren. we recall that their group has been kidnapping young women for white slavery and Kim was included. the manhunt for Bryan Mills, being the sole strong man against them, begins and they find them at the heart of Albania. without knowing that Bryan Mills had everything was carefully thought of in advance, his searchers were dropped to death. with Bryan Mills tactical skills, everything were brilliantly done.
moving by the numbers is something that you'll admire from his skills. and Kim has to be very attentive enough to do what she's told. everything seems so easy for the retired CIA agent, i just wonder if they really have that kind of training or it was just creatively done. the skills were more impressive than the gore and the suspense within the movie. i'll give it 8 out of 10 stars if you want it to be quantified.
on October 4 2012, watch Liam Neeson and the rest of the cast in Taken 2. distributed by 20th Century Fox Philippines.

WRATH OF THE TITANS movie review

an epic continuation of the adventures of Perseus and the gods are seen in Warner Bros. Pictures' Wrath of the Titans. starring Sam Worthington as Perseus, Liam Neeson as Zeus and Ralph Fiennes as Hades. set to dominate Philippine theaters on March 29, 2012 in IMAX 3D.
after successfullly defeating the Kraken, Perseus tries to live peacefully with his son, Helius. on the other side of life, the gods are struggling over conflict of supremacy versus the titans. they are slowly weakening due to loss of devotion of the humans. unknown to many, Hades together with Poseidon's son Ares had turned back from the gods to bring back the power to the titans. leader of the titans, Kronos, (Zeus, Hades and Poseidon's father) is down in the abyss of Tartarus where he was imprisoned for a long time by the power of triumvirate. as Kronos slowly recovers his power, the surface of the world experiences their rage with monsters and calamities. Perseus feels his calling from Zeus to stop Hades and even the titans to put the end to the world.
the relationship between father and son is the backbone of the story. Perseus to his son, Helius and Perseus to his father, Zeus. getting life support from each other. but this is better than "Clash" there are less romantic segments and focuses on adventure that make you think what's going to happen next. the monsters are more hideous than the Kraken and sounds are more solid.

get to see some very familiar things in the movie. let's tag Spartans, perhaps. there is also an awkward moment for Andromeda when they cheer for Perseus. she's more of a fighter rather than a queen.
see more of Wrath of the Titans in cinemas soon.

UNKNOWN movie review

you're in your business trip and you got in an accident because you unknowingly left your important documents at the airport. then all of a sudden, nobody knows you anymore and it seems that you didn't exist. worse, is someone is taking your place; -- everything. your wife, your belonging and even your memory. that's what Martin Harris (Liam Neeson) dealt being UNKNOWN. Warner Bros.' thriller action which is showing in theaters starting February 16.

at first you'll think that Martin Harris is a victim and almost like a sci-fi action that some higher government has set him up. if you remember The Truman Show where everything is planned and The Island like everyone is controlled by a huge company and like everyone is used.

unexpected twists get you bit by bit as Martin Harris remembers everything and weaves all the happenings in his life. fortunately, his wife really recognizes him but you'll wonder why she acts as if she doesn't really know Martin. the role of Liz Harris is played by January Jones.

you'll be amazed with Liam Neeson's strength. if you saw Taken his power is still the same in this movie. giving out the punches and kicks like a young actor and trying put this in order. Liam Neeson is always a kick-ass actor!

i don't want to spoil you or anything but catch UNKNOWN in cinemas starting February 16 2011; distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

THE A-TEAM movie review

learn military tactics and overcome government conspiracy with The A-Team. Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Sharlto Copley and Quinton Jackson stars as Iraq War veterans trying to clear their name from a frame up organized by Gen. Morrison (Gerald McRaney).

from the 1983 TV series of the same title, i give special remarks to the cast.

The A-Team, 1983 and 2010.

feast your eyes with death-defying scenes. you really should get a cast of real men to do those acts. with the humor from HM Murdoc and Barracuda, you won't get bored with the punchlines. Faceman and Sosa i think were just there to add a little sexiness to the story, having Jessica Biel and Bradley Cooper to fill in the characters. Liam Neeson came up as a very wise but fierce man. for the cast, it's 4.5 out of 5.

THE A-TEAM opens in Philippine theaters on June 10 2010.
