Aquaman 2 is entitled The Lost Kingdom

In an Instagram post circulating online, director James Wan is in a production meeting teasing the sequel of Aquaman and it is entitled, Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom.

While we don't know much about the plot, creepypuppet (James Wan's Instagram account) says in the caption that "The tide is rising." Maybe it would bring a huge tidal catastrophe to the surface caused by some tension in the deep but we'll need to stay tuned for more details.

Coming back to the sequel are Jason Momoa himself who said that he will be traveling to Hawaii in July in order to film the sequel. Also returning are Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, and Yahya Abdul Mateen II, while Game of Thrones’ Pilou Asbæek will also be joining the cast. The screenplay will be written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who co-wrote the screenplay for the first Aquaman, and also co-wrote the story for The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. Patrick Wilson is also reported to be getting buff again for the role of King Orb, or Orb after he was taken to prison in the previous movie.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is set to be released on December 2022, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

AQUAMAN movie review

Warner Bros. Pictures' latest DC Comics live action Aquaman will sway to the waves of awesomeness in theaters!
Arthur Curry's (Jason Momoa) origin story is action-packed and I'm so glad that most of it happened underwater. James Wan has made it so exciting and the cinematography is so stunning and it's so different from its DCEU forerunners. Nicole Kidman and Amber Heard kicks ass and Patrick Wilson plays a good villain King Orm too. The underwater is also a good beauty regimen for Willem Dafoe and the others because their skin is so tight and it almost glows!
Creatures and costumes are very well executed and Aquaman's costume as King of the Seven Seas detailing and material. Don't forget the breathtaking views of the seven kingdoms underwater that are well-executed and well-thought of. If you will look very closely, you won't miss a very familiar cameo that Aquaman made not just a superhero action movie, but will make you laugh at some details.
Aquaman is now showing in cinemas and best viewed in IMAX.
